About this ebook

This book has been banned from a major platform. In response, I have decided to make it available for free on other online platforms.

A quiet revolution is sweeping across the world and overturning the reigning liberal world order. Leaders across the Western world have strived at all costs to build an inclusive society that transcends race, culture, and even nationality. This vision of the world has been imposed upon the public by special interests that influence our mainstream media, academic institutions, and government. There has been much fanfare on the benefits of a diverse and global society, but little mention of its costs. These costs are substantial and can no longer be ignored.

Across the world, some nations are prosperous while others are mired in poverty and crime. To be prosperous, a nation must have a talented population and the right set of cultural values. Our nation possesses these advantages, but it is throwing them away for the sake of inclusivity. New Nationalism is an acknowledgement and defense of the factors that have made America great. This book gives voice and reason to the visceral unease many feel about the direction our country is heading.

Despite the vast wealth and influence of the global elite, they could not stop Brexit nor the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. They were defeated by millions of ordinary people across the world who were tired of watching their way of life slip away as their leaders grew rich off of public office. These people have lost confidence in the system, and they demand change.

This global revolution is real and just beginning.

    Awake - Joseph King

    Introduction

When historians look back on the 21st century, they’ll wonder why the world’s greatest superpower was so intent upon committing suicide.

A country is more than a place to live and work; it’s a group of people tightly bound together by blood and culture. For most of its history, the United States was essentially a European nation. Its people were English speaking Christians of European descent who, despite their differences, shared broadly similar values. Americans respected and understood hard work, humility, honesty, and personal responsibility. They sang the national anthem without fear of offending others, and took pride in the great accomplishments of their country. On Christmas, they wished each other Merry Christmas without a second thought. They trusted their neighbors and rarely bothered to lock their doors at night. They were one people.

Our unity, values, and security have come under attack by political correctness, multiculturalism, and mass illegal immigration. These factors are destroying our nation by dissolving the binds that hold us together as a people.

Widespread illegal immigration has brought tens of millions of low-skilled Hispanic laborers into our country. Many neighborhoods have almost overnight become flooded with foreigners who do not share our values nor even speak English. Some predict that in the not-too-distant future White Americans will become a minority.

A common ethnicity is not a requirement for nationhood, but, at the very least, a nation must share a common culture. Multiculturalism has paralyzed the assimilation process that immigrants normally undergo. Instead of requiring new immigrants to learn English, we build bilingual public schools and write public brochures in multiple languages. We bend over backwards to accommodate immigrants, but are forbidden to demand they respect our culture. Multiculturalism encourages a cultural balkanization of our society. There are entire neighborhoods and towns in this country that look as if they were transplanted from the third world.

If Americans don’t share an ethnic bond or even a cultural bond, what does it mean to be an American? We are no longer a people, but a hodgepodge of peoples who live and work on the same parcel of land without a sense of unity. We are Asians, Europeans, Blacks, and Hispanics who happen to live on the American continent. In a balkanized country, identity politics predominate as people become tribal. Mutual trust decreases, democracy becomes dysfunctional, and we cease to be a nation.

To be a unified country, we must share a culture. However, to remain a great country, we need to have the right kind of culture. As a nation, we are forgetting the values that have led to our greatness. Values such as honesty, industriousness, personal responsibility, and humility have been essential to our success but are no longer being promoted. Instead, we only celebrate diversity and inclusivity, which enable the proliferation of dysfunctional cultures and subcultures. In the Black community, over 70% of children are born out of wedlock, education is stigmatized, and crime rates are high.

Remaining a great country also means we need to have the right kind of people. The most important resource of any nation is always the intelligence and industriousness of its people. Politically correct dogma is preventing our nation from coming to terms with the fact that there are real differences between races. All technologically advanced nations in the world are White or Asian, while Brown or Black countries are mired in poverty and crime. The same phenomena can be seen within our country, where virtually all Black and Brown neighborhoods are crime and poverty ridden. Third world countries are third world because they are inhabited by third world people. Yet some leaders insist on opening our borders to mass Hispanic immigration and African and Middle Eastern refugees.

The elite do not share our values and do not even believe in nation states. A small Jewish minority has gained enormous influence on our country and use that influence to promote Jewish values such as multiculturalism and global capitalism. Most of our non-Jewish elite have also come to hold these values. Our elite reside in a bubble that's so small and insular that they sincerely believe that anyone who disagrees with them is stupid, racist, and deplorable. Their leisure and business take them all over the world and they have come to view themselves as global citizens. For them, the idea of an American identity is too provincial. If things weren’t going well in America, they could always just move to another country.

Our leaders are only looking out for themselves and there's no one at the helm of our great nation. Our politicians have spent trillions upon trillions of dollars in the last decade yet tens of millions of Americans live in poverty and our national infrastructure is falling apart. At the same time, our politicians are making hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fee and their corporate friends are enjoying record-breaking profits. Each year, our national debt goes higher and higher and everyone acts as if it is someone else’s problem.

We routinely demonize the most productive members of our society because they happen to be White or male. We open our borders to millions of low-skilled laborers who lack the ability to meaningfully contribute to our society. We have thrown away our cultural values to please a Jewish minority. We are committing national suicide.

I grew up in a happy and loving family. I attended an Ivy League university, am multilingual, and have spent close to a decade of my life abroad. I am one of the beneficiaries of the current liberal world order and there really isn’t any reason for me to be discontent. But I have long suspected that the narratives forced upon the American public by the mainstream media and education system are not true. These narratives serve the global elite, but at the expense of the majority. The yachts and houses of the top 1% have gotten larger and larger over the past decades, but for everyone else, wages have declined and unemployment has soared.

This book discusses the problems of our country, their causes, and potential solutions. The discussions in this book are honest and out of a sincere concern for the future of our great nation. Many ideas in this book are not politically correct and are considered by some to be deeply offensive. However, the language itself is not in any way malicious and everything discussed is true and can be backed up with facts.

    Culture

When it come building successful nations, not all cultures are the same. A culture is a set of values that tells us how we should behave and perceive the world. It is something we inherit, often in the form of tradition or religion. We don’t always understand the wisdom behind these cultural ideas, but there are always good reasons for their existence.

In Old Testament law, there are a large number of seemingly bizarre rules determining uncleanliness, and a whole other set of rules determining how one becomes clean. A Jew could become unclean under the law in a number of ways, such as by touching feces or a corpse, or touching anything that had touched something unclean. To become clean again, a Jew could undergo a purification ritual that often came down to washing his hands in water. In fact, Jewish laws mandate that Jews wash their hands before eating and bathe at least once a week. This may all sound like common sense to us today, but in Biblical times no one knew about germs and most people never even bathed. These Old Testament rules were, no doubt, incomprehensible to most people. However, these rules kept disease rates among Jews low even as diseases ravaged neighboring gentiles. ¹ Not all cultural ideas make sense to us, but they all exist because they have proven helpful over generations.

    American Culture

In March of 2016, North Carolina implemented a law that prevented a transgendered person from using the public restroom of the gender that the person identified with. This meant that men who think they are women would not be able to use the women’s public restroom, but would have to use the men’s room. This decision created a large national controversy, with the nation almost evenly divided. For many people it was common sense for a man to use the men’s room. Some might even think that a man who thinks that he's a woman suffers from a mental illness. However, others viewed the law as unjustly discriminating against an oppressed minority.

As a culture, we don’t really know what we believe in any more. Not long ago, we all knew what it meant to be a good man or a good woman, but the values we've held to be true for hundreds of years seem to have been turned on their heads. In their place, society has imposed inclusivity and a nonjudgmental mindset as our most important cultural values. We're forbidden from holding any beliefs that might imply that some groups of people are different from other groups, lest some groups feel inferior to others. And we're also forbidden from enforcing our values on anyone else, since it's claimed that no one has the right to judge anyone else.

Our society is coming apart because we've thrown away the cultural values that enabled it. Once, the great majority of Americans were Christian, and, while they were not all perfect, they at least agreed on what was right and wrong. They believed a good person was one who displayed humility, kindness, and generosity, among other virtues. They also knew men and women were not the same, and, thus, had different standards of behavior. We knew that a good man was a man who worked hard to support and protect his family, his word was as binding as a contract, and he honestly admitted error when he was at fault. He was strong, courageous, and
