    INTRODUCTION

    In 2009, I wrote an amazing book. My dream was to take the literary world by storm by self-publishing an urban fiction classic. I had one major problem though: I was broke.

    I had been told that you have to spend tons of money to take a book to market so I put my dream on hold for a while. During that time, I watched my peers release books and some of them became bestsellers even though none of them were any smarter or richer than I was. I was tired of sitting back letting my dreams waste away.

    Then it happened . I had my ah-ha moment! I would defy the rules and publish a book with no money!

    Nothing would stop me from reaching my goals so I stayed up day and night doing research on free and low cost ways to release my book. After several months, I gained a wealth of knowledge and I self-published my first book with $0. I did it by myself and it didn ’ t take that long to do. Just like the first of anything, it wasn ’ t a NY Times bestseller but it was a complete and well put together project. To this day, I ’ m proud of it.
