About this ebook

Lord Andrew Mabry, the second son of the Duke of Greystone, has no desire to marry. As the spare, he has no obligation to provide an heir and he rather enjoys spending his days and nights in play with the demimonde. But more and more of late, he finds himself wanting to play naughty games with the American heiress, Gina Hammersley.

After her scandalous older sister marries a marquess, Gina Hammersley suddenly finds herself the darling of London with beaux a plenty calling on her, sending flowers, and filling her dance cards. Unfortunately, the one she desires most is the one who has no wish to be caught in the marriage trap: Lord Andrew Mabry.

But when they are discovered in a compromising situation, this unlikely pair must decide whether to face scandal or discover if the passion they’ve always felt is strong enough to lead them into love.

Lorraine Heath

Lorraine Heath always dreamed of being a writer. After graduating from the University of Texas, she wrote training manuals, press releases, articles, and computer code, but something was always missing. When she read a romance novel, she not only became hooked on the genre, but quickly realized what her writing lacked: rebels, scoundrels, and rogues. She’s been writing about them ever since. Her novels have been recognized with numerous industry awards and have appeared on the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists.

Andrew Mabry, the younger son of the Duke of Greystone, enjoys his carefree life and has sworn to never marry. Yet, Andrew's determined bachelorhood is put to the test by Gina Hammersley, whose longing to broaden her horizons tempts him with forever.

This final installment in the series hits all the spots that the previous one missed. That said, it does require a healthy suspension of disbelief to accept that Gina would be able to spend so much time alone with Andrew not to mention traipsing off to a brothel.

Gina's feisty and adventurous spirit is the perfect foil for Andrew's dissatisfaction with his dissolute life. They bring out the best in each other and their connection, both physical and emotional, is tangible.

As this is a novella, it is a little short on plot, but it more than makes up for it with the delightful romance. It is great to have the series end on a high note.

Gentlemen Prefer Heiresses by Lorraine HeathHistorical romance. The spare falls in love. The heiress isn’t shy or afraid to ask for what she wants. When she can’t sleep after a formal ball, she accompanied the hero to a brothel. He expected her to be shocked and refuse to go in. Instead she goes off with one of the girls hand in hand upstairs and behind a closed door. Soon he is so jealous he pushes into the room to stop whatever is going on. I won’t spoil the story further, but it’s fun and racy and romantic. No erotic but a little bit hot and sexy. Unexpected.
