      INTRODUCTION

      These poems reflect a variety of experiences and emotions that are common to the human spirit. In these pages you will find poems about joy, love, awe, sorrow, heartache, pain, encouragement, faith, family and relationships. The majority are of a spiritual nature. They were written over many years from high school to adult life and are arranged in no particular order. I wanted them this way because that’s how life experiences and our emotions are; they come in no particular order, always changing, eclectic, and diverse.

      It took a long time for me to bring the publishing of this book to pass. Not because of the writing itself, as the poems were written over time when I was led
