So many questions and most of the time we find no answers in life, it seems. Words derive from thoughts and words can and do play a mighty part in mankind's life. We are going to look at thoughts today. God's food for thought will give you a lot to think about in your own life. Look at this and then look at your thoughts. Colossians 3:1-2 " If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God." 2. "Set your affection things above, not on things on the earth." In all our thoughts, let's look at God's food for thought.

      INTRODUCTION

      Thoughts: Have you ever really given much time to the contemplating of all those things running through that perfectly created mind of yours? Do they ever stop, even for a nanosecond? Where do they all come from that they can fill our every second of our days and nights all the days of our lives? How powerful are thoughts? My dear friends, that is what we are going to give an answer to. We are going to dive into a world of words and ponder the control they have on all humanity. Words can and do play a mighty part in mankind’s life. I would like you to think on this: Back in the hippie era there was a young couple that had two sons. The couple’s last name was fail and they thought it would be funny to name one son Always and the other Never. Of course, as to their names; Always fail did just that all his life became a wonder all the days of his life. Never accomplishing much of anything. Now there was Never Fail, again did just that and became a prominent Attorney and succeeded at all that he set his hand to. I know you are saying, well that is just a story, but names are words and words come from thoughts and do create many things. A man thought about the moon and those thoughts, in time took us to that moon that man had given thought to.

      NIGHT TIME THOUGHTS

      I would now like to take you into the thoughts of a man that seemed to be deeply distressed with many thoughts racing through his mind as he was awoken form sleep. Yes, you are talking to that man as the burning hearts cry in his mind is being revealed. He just couldn’t stop them. He was so compelled to write them. He sat down and took paper and pen in hand and began to write it out for his eyes to see. Would you allow me to shire them with you? Now your eyes can see the cry that our Lord God Almighty has put in his heart, but I must ask you; does your heart have a burning cry also? This is that cry he had that early morning: O’ Lord God, how my heart does cry after you to do the work that you have called me to do. I wish to stop for just a moment to encourage you to listen ever so close to this early morning prayer and the requests that are being made and think about the thoughts going through that distressed mind early in the morning and just how deep these thoughts truly are. I will continue now: "I pray thee, O’ Lord, give me strength that I fail you not. Give me wisdom that I may understand - All - that I may do your will as only you alone have called me to do and that I may do it well that others may never fall into the hands of the evil one. Show me the way to pry the hands of Satan from them. O’ Lord, open my eyes that I may see your mind, O’ God, and
