It was midnight. Again. In Phoenix. The sweltering summer temp was a hundred degrees and I was in heat.
Great.
This damn heatwave was messing with my hormones. And not in a good way, either.
An omega cat in heat prowling around outside in the middle of the night. Now that was a recipe for disaster.
But that was exactly what I was going to do. Hopefully, my horny heat scent wouldn't attract too many nasty Alphas.
I just couldn't stand the heat anymore.
Throwing my jogging pants and a t-shirt on, I skipped down my apartment stairs
