Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. Other than his birth date, he never found out much about his biological parents up until later in life when he became famous. A few weeks after his birth, his biological mother legally gave Steve Jobs for adoption to Paul and Clara living in San Francisco. They had been trying for the last ten years to have a child.
Steve and Woj together started selling ‘Blue Boxes’ to students in an illegal manner. The students would take it to make free calls. The ‘Square Newspaper’ in October 1971, had disclosed the manner of making it. Before starting work in accordance with the law they had earned 6,000 dollars.
Steve finished high school and then took admission in Reed College but after one session he left the college and started living like a nomad. In Reed College, he met Dan Kottke who later made the Apple 1 and also inspected it.
Apple was established. Steve Jobs (45% shares), Wozniak (45% shares) and Ronal Wayne (10% shares) became its founders. Wayne thought that he couldn’t take a risk and so he sold his shares equally to Steve and Wozniak for 800 dollars.
The first office was opened in California in Stevens Bookie Boulevard.
Steve got an order of 50 computers from California’s Mount View’s Byte Shop.
Steve and Kotke presented Apple 1 in a personal computer festival while Wozniak had started his work on Apple 2.

1. Steve Jobs : A Brief Biography
Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. Other than his birth date, he never found out much about his biological parents up until later in life when he became famous. 1995
On 24th February in San Francisco, Steve Jobs was born his biological mother Joan Simpson and biological father Abdul Fateh John Jandali. Paul Jobs and Clara Jobs had adopted him and later named him Steve Jobs.
1966
Jobs family came and settled down in California’s Los Altos. Steve’s admission was taken in Homestead High School, where he got attracted to music and technology. He became very fond of Bob Dhillon and Beetle’s music.
1971
Steve met Apple’s co-founder Stefan Wozniak.
1972

In this year in September, he joined a job in video gaming company ‘Atari’. He also started going to a computer club where computer specialists gathered.
1976
Apple was established. Steve Jobs (45% shares), Wozniak (45% shares) and Ronal Wayne (10% shares) became its founders. Wayne thought that he couldn’t take a risk and so he sold his shares equally to Steve and Wozniak for 800 dollars.

1977
To get one-third shares of Apple a person namely Mike Murkula invested 91 thousand dollars in the company and also organized a loan of 2,50,000 dollars from Bank of America.
Apple presented Apple 2 in San Francisco’s Computer Fair which was 1,298 dollars worth.
1978
In January in Las Vegas, Apple presented a floppy disk drive for Apple 2 during the Consumer Electronics Show. For the business world, Apple 3 was launched. Steve was now involved in making Lisa Computer (Local Integrated Software Architecture) for the business world.
Apple appointed Mike Scott (a worker in National Semiconductor) as the CEO of their company.
Steve’s present lover Kris gave birth to his first daughter Lisa. Steve didn’t take up her responsibility but had to take it up when the court orders arrived after the DNA test.
1979
Steve and his co – workers went for a trip of inspection to Xerox Park which was very important for him. The trip forced him to think about the future inventions.
Apple launched ‘Apple to Plan’ which was worth 1,195 dollars.
An electronic spreadsheet was introduced for Apple 2 which in turn increased its sales.
1980
Apple’s public IPO’s 46 lakh shares were sold. Initially, each share was worth 22 dollars. The stock was closed on 29 dollars each share. Apple was now estimated to be of 1.778 Arab dollars worth.
1981
Apple launched Apple 3 in the market but 14 thousand computers had to be taken back because of the complicated design.
To replace the expensive Lisa Computers, the Apple team got together to build Macintosh.
There came a ‘Black Wednesday’ in the history of Apple when it’s CEO Mike Scott without taking permission kicked out half of the Apple To Plan workers from their jobs. The founders and board of members removed him from his post and Mike Murkula was made the new CEO.
Steve took up the post of the Chairman of the Board of Members and Mike Murkula remained the CEO.
IBM launched IBM PC 5150 personal computer in the market for 1,565 dollars. Steve Jobs described this computer technically weak but the business community vouched for negation to Steve’s statement and instead of Apple’s products they started giving importance to IBM products.
1982
For developing Macintosh’s three features – spreadsheet, database and business graphics, Microsoft Company’s owner Bill Gates had done a settlement.
‘TIME’ magazine made Steve Jobs as their cover story and gave the title as ‘America’s Risk Takers – Steve Jobs of Apple Computer.’
Steve Jobs purchased one apartment in San Remo’s area in New York. Many famous celebrities lived in this building. Steve had purchased top two floors and it was decorated by I.M. Pai after spending lots of money. But Jobs never came to stay here and later he had sold it.
In ‘TIME’ magazine instead of announcing Steve Job as the ‘Man of the Year’ they announced the personal computer made by him as the ‘Machine of the Year’.
1983
Steve Jobs went in front of New York’s powerful Media for launching ‘Lisa Computer’. There he met PEPSICO’s official John Schooly. He had got very much interested in him and then he took him to Apple.
On 19th January Apple launched Lisa Computer in the market at the price of 9,995 dollars.
Apple later stopped manufacturing ‘Apple to Team’ computer and started manufacturing ‘Apple to E’ computer.
On 8th June Apple appointed John Sculley as Apple’s CEO.
1984
Apple launched its first Macintosh computer in the market. For the publicity of this computer commercial advertisement with the title ‘1984’ was made with the expenditure of twelve lakh dollars and their advertisement was directed by Ridley Scott. This advertisement was shown on television. Macintosh was world’s first G.U.I. computer. The cost price of this computer was between 1,995 to 2,395 dollars.
On 14th January ‘Lisa 2’ was launched in the market. The rate of its different models was 3,495 dollars, 4,495 dollars, and 5,495 dollars.
Steve Jobs purchased a 17 thousand square feet house, ‘Jackling House’ in California’s wood side.
For publishing Macintosh’s advertisements for November and December months, Apple had purchased 39 pages advertisements rights of ‘News Weeks’ election publication.
1985
Lazer type writer was launched in the market at a price of 6,995 dollars.
Lisa has later launched again in the market as Macintosh Excel with the price with the expectations that the sales would increase but it did not happen so.
Apple’s co – founder Wojniyak was fed up of his symbolic role and hence he resigned from his post on 6th February in order to open his new company and could pay attention to the invention of electronic products.
After taking permission from Apple’s Board of Directors then John Schooly had freed Steve Jobs from the chief post of Mac Division. (In 2010 Schooly’s interview with Lander Kany he expressed his request in not allowing Jobs to beat his position, At that time we had thought our doing so to be appropriate but we shouldn’t have done so. For that mistake, I feel myself to be guilty. If it would not have happened so then Apple would not have gone through the bad times.

With the feeling of being cheated and considering the future of Apple Steve Jobs keeping one share of Apple with him then sold off the rest of the shares in the market at the price of 7.15 billion dollars.
Xerox Park’s Allen had told Steve Jobs that George Lucas wanted to sell Pixar. Steve wanted to buy it but he was not ready to pay 3 billion dollars.
On 14th June 12 workers of Apple were fired.
On 1st August the sales of Macintosh Excel stopped.
On 13th September Steve told Apple that he is going to establish another computer company by the name NeXT. Apple encouraged him and proposed him to make Apple his investing partner.
President Ronald Regan awarded Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak with ‘National Medal of Technology’.
1986
On 29th January Apple’s CEO and President John Schooly became the Chairman.
After closing the production of basic ‘Macintosh’ Apple launched ‘Macintosh – 512’ in the market at a price of 2,000 dollars.
Steve Jobs purchased Graphics Group from George Lucas in one million dollars. This company was later named ‘Pixar’. This company was later named as ‘Pixar’. Steve was the CEO of it with 50.1% share holding.
