INTRODUCTION
The Superhuman Diet is all about self-optimisation. The ultimate goal is to make your body perform at its best, or in other words, to create the ultimate you.
Growing up, most of us dreamed about becoming Superheroes, and being physically unstoppable. Well now you can, sort of. You can become Superhuman, the ultimate version of you. You can feel like you are on top of the world, and do things you never thought possible. But what is a Superhuman? A Superhuman is someone who is strong, agile, and supple, and who can take on any challenge. A Superhuman’s body functions optimally, and does not age rapidly.
Being Superhuman means creating an optimal functioning body that will last. The bigger picture is what you want to focus on. You have to visualise how you will feel when you reach the point where you start to feel like a Superhuman.
This book also strongly emphasises enabling your brain to function at top capacity. Being Superhuman means having a brain that is sharp, which can help you navigate through challenges efficiently, and with ease.
Make wellness, not aesthetics, your goal. When you eat healthily, you feel better. Therefore, you think more clearly, and perform better as well.
Diet is often overlooked in the quest to become the ultimate being, but when used strategically, it can help you make great progress on your self-optimisation journey, and improve your results significantly. Even though diet cannot replace proper training, it can play a big role in improving your results. Even a 5% improvement can make a difference. The diet will give you all the energy and nutrients you need for optimal performance.
Optimising your brain’s performance can help you get more done in a day, and take on mental tasks that may have seemed daunting at first.
If you have never given diet much thought, then these guidelines might seem a little overwhelming at first. It not only focuses on the performance enhancing benefits of the main food groups, but micronutrients, such as specific vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, as well. Food can be an incredible tool to use to your advantage.
As an added bonus, by adopting a diet and fitness lifestyle, which enables you and your body to perform at peak level, you can maintain this ultimate physical state well into old age.
It does not have to be difficult or time consuming.
