river
The saro’s interpretation
Saro’s riverine
Once was a crystalline
Under the south-southern skies
A base of treasure
Pride of nature
Under the south-southern skies
Saro’s riverine
Gift of nature
From this base of treasure
Gives the nation
Treasure to treasure
And for a sure measure
In exchange of
Diamonds and gold rings
Gift of nature
The class of
Upper hills
From dodan to aso
Piped away whole treasure
First to their own land
Under the eyes of the sun
As if pyramids of the hills
Ever met the rivers
Saro needed himself
To protest
The detest
Of the southern truth
Glaring
To the junta
And who for bits of complex
Clung to power
Brought him a conquest
Of lethal signature
In an hour
So....saro died
The prime of a lettered man
Sing of his prose
Sing of his pen
The glamour of his rose
Saro died
All we are still saying
With our background as witnesses
Is not equity
The land on which the gold is found
Has a people
Derivation from these drills
Filled with frills
Should grow these land
In every wise
Not as twice
But in every wise
