    Introduction

    Times for meals are very challenging and tricky especially when you have kids in the family. It is very hard to come up with a menu of what you are going to prepare for your children. Cooking a meal that will suit everyone while on the dining table is the most difficult in the world.

    I personally use to find it hard wondering about the whole idea of cooking the right meal for all including children. As a grown up, I could feed on any meal as long as it was well balanced. Now that kids came in, I had to look for various ways I could make them enjoy a meal with us. It can be very funny when your child will not eat just because she does not like the meal you prepared. You feel bad as a parent or guardian.

    Sometimes, it is also good to let children do the cooking on their own. They will definitely enjoy what they make than yours.  Here are some 45 fun and healthy dishes for young-chief-cookers between the age of three and seven years.

    Chapter 1

    MEALS BEST FOR DINNER

    Homemade cheese crackers

    Ingredients

    6 oz. cheddar cheese

    ¼ cup butter, soft and cut into pieces

    ¾ cup flour

    ½ tea spoon salt

    ½ tea spoon, crushed red pepper flakes

    1Table spoon milk

    Method

    1. Heat your oven at 350 degrees Celsius before.

    2. Add cheddar cheese, flour, and butter, salt and crushed red pepper flakes all together in a food processor. Mix them together until the dough becomes a thick crumb.

    3. Add milk and mix steadily.

    4. Roll dough out on a surface spread by flour. Make thick rectangular shapes.

    5. Cut dough into 1" squares. Use flat end of a wooden skewer to poke a hole in center of squares.

    6. Put crackers on a greased baking sheet.

    7. Bake until edges turn brown. Store any not being eaten right away in an airtight container for 1-2 days.

    8. Serve them.
