INTRODUCTION
Origami is a playful art and an artful form of play
Around the world, children who delight in the paper cup, the fortune teller, the jumping frog, and the water bomb (a paper cube that you inflate and fill with water to toss at enemies) little suspect that this ancient entertainment is an artform deeply connected to haiku, Japanese brush painting, Zen garden design, and even modern sculpture and architecture.
