Mark Giglio is a writer and artist living in San Diego County, California. His education in creative writing and lifelong interest in history bring him to writing the "Alchemist Gift" book series today. From a long line of artists and craftsmen, he has the vocation of Furniture Maker and is the creator of the award-winning Alchemist Series of Art Furniture. On a suggestion he merged his love of writing, history and art and created the novel "Alchemist Gift".

A Glimpse of Eternity
Justin pulled over at a wide spot in the road. He and Nora stood next to the guardrail and looked out on a grand vista of the Laguna Mountains and west into the inland valleys and a little beyond. The December sun laid down stark shadows in the canyons and on the sheltered hillsides. The gray, brush stroke clouds outlined and compressed the pastel mountains into a pencil line landscape that layer by layer faded into the horizon. It is so beautiful here; isn’t it honey…
It was cold enough for him to see his breath.
Yes, it is, sweetheart.
Nora’s cheeks were pink. She crossed her arms against the cold and snuggled against his shoulder.
Just imagine, all of this was here before we were born and will be here long after we’re gone.
Honey, come on, you’re so philosophical; this is our happy time, our getaway,
Nora looked up and smiled.
Oh, I meant it in a good way, Nora.
He smiled back and slowly took
