Amazon FBA Beginners Guide - Damon Grant

Introduction

Private labelling of products has been around for some time. A good number of people who venture into private labelling jump start their careers via retail arbitrage. However, you don’t have to go through that route and you can still jump straight into private labelling. Something common with both approaches is that you have to build your brand from the ground up. You are building a business that did not exist and you have to be smart about the products that you sell.

Once you identify the product you want to sell, you need to create a brand, which is the main task in this because the brand is what makes or breaks your business. Once you identify a brand and give it your label, you are set to go. This will take you around 3 months at most.

5. Launch the goods

6. Automate the business

If you carefully follow the guidelines set in this book, you should be able to reap the benefits from anywhere in the world. But let’s first establish what private labelling is. To be honest, a majority of companies do not actually manufacture their products. Such companies range from tech companies like Apple to fashion outlets.

Why? Manufacturing is very expensive and they would rather private label their products. They have someone else manufacture the products, mostly the Chinese, because of the cost of production.

They then have the manufacturer put the brand name on the product so that it can be sold in the market. This arrangement has been around for a very long time and has been used by very big companies to effectively manufacture products thereby improving their profit margins while having the luxury of
