Crush, Pound, Sherry, Dr. Tatum, and Seth

Get on your knees, boy!
Colonel Lowe shouted at Pound, and the butt of a rifle struck him in the back, knocking him to the floor as the boots of other soldiers scurried around them in the dark of the shallow cave. Not knowing whether to move again or not, Pound stayed on the floor and waited to see what was going to happen next. He did not have to wait for long. A huge hand grabbed the back of his coat and lifted him from the ground and onto his knees, and Pound turned his head just enough to see the huge knuckles of the hand that had lifted him up so easily. He then felt the cold tip of a rifle barrel poking into the back of his neck, and he knew he needed to be still if he wanted to live.
That’s better!
Lowe snapped, and he shoved Sherry up against the wall alongside Seth and Dr. Tatum. Crush was still standing with his hands behind his cat ears, and the expression on his face conveyed pure hatred for the man that now threatened their lives. Lowe stepped up beside Crush, and he stuck his face next to his right ear and laughed out loud. Just where did you come from. A few seconds ago, there were only those two,
he said and pointed to Dr. Tatum and Seth, and now, you three appear out of nowhere.
We were at home enjoying tea, and then, Bob’s your uncle, and we’re here,
Crush told him. Colonel Lowe did not find his answer funny.
I recognize every one of you,
Lowe sneered inches away from Crush’s face. I know each one of you by name, Crush. The working class of the DAM. Right here in the middle of Nowhere, California, you show up with a satellite phone and the clothes of one of our agents.
Crush’s forehead wrinkled as he wondered what this idiot was droning on about.
Who are you?
Crush ventured, and Colonel Lowe grabbed him by the ear and twisted it hard in a circle. Instinctively, Crush ducked his head, extended his claws from his fingertips, and brought his forearm down to catch Lowe in the leg. Colonel Lowe laughed again as Crush’s claws struck armor and padding, and the butt of another rifle caught Crush in the ribs while three other soldiers aimed their weapons at him, red laser dots hovering over his forehead and midsection. With the scurry of flashlights and unsettled movement, Crush had noticed the badges on the arms of a couple of the soldiers, and he recognized the symbol as that of the STUN organization. Crush released his tight grip on Colonel Lowe’s leg, and the Colonel backed a safe distance away, training his flashlight in Crush’s eyes. The four other DAM personnel remained quiet and waited for the state of affairs to improve.
Like I said, before you so rudely interrupted, I am asking the questions here. Not you,
he proceeded. Where did you come from so quickly?
he asked Crush again and noticed the eyeball amulet that hung around his neck. The eyeball blinked and squinted in the intense beam of the flashlight, and Colonel Lowe glanced down to study it for a second before Pound answered from where he knelt on the floor.
We were right outside the cave there,
Pound fibbed, and Colonel Lowe nodded his head to the big guy who stood behind him.
"Cross, why don’t you show
