Jerk Alert - Jennifer Riley
Chapter 2
Why the attraction?
THE SKINNY
You live long enough and you'll see it.
A nice guy who seemingly has it all together hooking up with a woman with tons of problems. Or a nice woman with a big heart
dating a douche bag.
Both men and women are vulnerable to dating what is commonly called a jerk
.
This jerk is, in a nutshell, someone who only cares about themselves. They care little about the damage they do to those around them and leave a trail of broken hearts and emotional wreckage behind them.
This book will allow you to recognize the jerks in both your dating and professional life and get rid of them.
Now make no mistake. This is hard work and is easier said than done.
For men, you may vow to never date anymore sluts but when another pretty face bats her eyelashes at you, your resolution will be thrown away like a used condom.
For women, you may vow never to date another cheating loser. You watch OPRAH and vow to never to become like one of those abused women sitting on her panel with their sob stories. But another sweet talking, good looking guy will come along and you fall into the same loop.
The following pages will help you close the loop forever.
But to do that, we have to first understand how we got there.
What are we doing with these people
