    Hollywood Blood - Renee Stone

    Chapter 1

Jenna stepped out of the Greyhound Bus and looked up at the Hollywood sign. After months of planning, she had finally made. Even after travelling for more than a week on the bus Jenna looked like she belonged in Hollywood. She stood 5’ 9" and radiated nothing but beauty. She hoped that this beauty would take her to the next level in Hollywood. It was Jenna’s dream to immortalize herself in the screens of Hollywood.

In addition to her elegant height, Jenna boasted fiery red curls and voluptuous curves. Her hair stood against her pale skin like fire and was complemented by the ice-blue eyes that seemed to chill anyone who made eye contact. She removed her luggage from the bottom of the bus, a single suitcase filled with everything that she owned. After more than a year and a half of waitressing, she finally thought she saved up enough to realize her dreams. She bought her ticket on the Greyhound and packed up what she could fit in her suitcase and set out for the west.

Jenna had grown up in a small town in North Carolina. All through high school she had been voted titles like Most Popular, Most Likely to Have a Career in Movies, and so many others. She had even been voted homecoming queen for all four consecutive years that she attended high school. Jenna stayed active in the performing arts. She could not explain it, but she had always felt so good after a performance. It was like she fed off of the positive energy and attention.

Jenna had been so excited when she could quit her waitressing job and finally make her way to California. Her parents did not approve, but she did not care. Jenna felt she had to follow her dreams. Her mother had been sad to see her go. She made her promise to call whenever she could. Jenna’s father was a different story. He was disappointed in Jenna’s decision and thought that she was leaving herself open to people who take advantage of her beauty. His dream had always been that his daughter would take over the family restaurant when he retired and that was shattered when he left.

Jenna just stood for a moment and soaked in the warmth from the California sun. She felt elated just to be here and was even more excited when she was rushed by a group
