About this ebook

A love-triangle that transcends this world.

An inexperienced young couple see the sudden appointment as managers of the Angry Sailor pub in Norfolk, England as an exciting opportunity – bringing with it the hopes of a brighter future together.
But no-one, not even the owners, are aware of the inn’s turbulent past and of the malevolent forces at work there; particularly of one dark force, who has been waiting for a long, long time for the right people to arrive.

Frank Peniston

At school, I hated languages as a subject and learning about grammar and tenses was tedious and boring. Science and astronomy was my thing. But even so, I loved writing. And while I never scored much for my essays, largely due to exceeding the limitations placed on me and the poor use of grammar, the teachers almost always read them out loud to the class. I also loved reading. Over the years, my grammar thankfully improved and I began to write. My stories were all abandoned before completion as I had a tumultuous and hectic life. At the age of 25, I used to claim that I had experienced more in my life than most men twice my age. Many years have since passed and fortunately things calmed down. My first novel was completed in a mere six weeks – largely to silence the sceptics that I could, in fact, write. It was published in 2000. Looking at the book now, I have to smile. It was good, but my writing skills still needed a lot of improvement. Today, however, I think I am finally there.
