About this ebook

Simon is a mystery to Phillip, sending what Phillip interprets as very mixed messages.

They get along well and when they’re both invited to star in a new tv show both eagerly agree. The thing is it’s more than probable that they both have quite different expectations from their renewed screen partnership. Of course neither of them is talking about expectations or love or attraction or anything like that.

Can hurt feelings (or more) be avoided or will it take someone actually having the guts to say something once and for all to finally clear the air?

He shrugged, waiting for the Simon juggernaut to come to a natural halt.  When he was certain that the pause was more than him simply catching breath he said; "Hello, Simon.  How are you? Long time no see.

There was a short laugh on the other end of the line and he smiled, imagining the expression that went with the amusement – Simon’d always had the ability to make him smile despite himself.  Yeah, sorry mate.  How are you?

Well, trying to learn some lines.  You?

You could have given me a heads up.

You bloody well know it doesn’t work that way.  I heard they were interested in you, but that’s as far as it went – not my place to give you a ‘heads up’.  What if they changed their minds or something? How stupid would we both have looked?

Short pause and again he could picture Simon’s frown, probably accompanied
