About this ebook

Mitch Crowne is a ghost. He has been off the radar since 2001 when he killed an American ambassador and a Russian politician in Moscow. This happened shortly after he assassinated the vice president of America. Jeremy Clegane is a former British soldier of special forces who had been deployed for several years to Africa. He was one of the best and was specialized in one to one combat. In 2001, a retired Clegane is recruited by MI6. His first mission is to partner up with Mitch Crowne, at the time one of FBI's most wanted. Several years later, when he lives a quiet life, he and his girlfriend find themselves on some sort of hit list. And it all connects back to that first mission in Moscow with one Mitch Crowne. Killing Crowne starts where A Dangerous Man ended and where The Drifter begins.

    Chapter 1:

The Russian, The Brit and The American

    Iksa (Russia), July 28 2007

Alexander Vaslowski was sitting in an office. He was very much in shape, like Paul Walker was. Alexander was 1.75 meters tall and looked younger than many thought. He dyed his hair every week but he never did plastic surgery. He was just fifty-two years old and never achieved any success or fame like his brother or parents did. Bored by the ease of his life, surrounded by the riches of his family, he was brought the news about a nemesis he always thought died years ago. In 2001 his elder brother Miroslav was assassinated in the capital of their much beloved country. Miroslav was appointed to run for presidency and to compete with Yuri Suvarov. Miroslav was eight years his senior, but very much looked the same. Miroslav was also a Cold war hero, which made him the favourite son. Alexander’s father was one of Stalin’s most loyal ministers and was a world war II hero. Alexander couldn’t get his eyes of the two enormous paintings that were hanging in this office of his brother and father. He also had a much younger half sister that disappeared sixteen years ago, she was probably wrongfully abducted and ended in human trafficking. But the nemesis mentioned earlier, had nothing to do with that case. No, this was far more important.

One of his assistants entered the office with two of Alexander’s most loyal men: Vako and Pjotr. Both were tall men above 1.90 metres and had blonde hair with blue eyes. They we’re like him, good in shape and looked like former militaries. Which they probably were. Luther Denisov was his assistant. he was smaller than he was and looked very feminine. He was the younger brother of one of Alexander’s best comrades and married to a beautiful woman. Now Luther was little and slim, but he did have army recognitions and a black belt in Jin-Jitsu. Very smooth and kind at the outside, but a trained killer inside. And loyal of course. He also had a tender voice, unlike Alexander who had a deep voice.

‘Alexander, I know you didn’t want to be disturbed. But I received some information regarding an individual you might be very interested in. So, I granted myself at liberty to come here immediately.’

‘Very well. What do you have my brother?’

‘I’m not going to test your memory, but do you recall the day when Miroslav was assassinated.’

‘Of course, it’s like yesterday. I still feel the pain like electrifying pieces of steel that splinter throughout my stomach!’, Alexander almost said furious. ‘I’m sorry you had to hear that.’

‘You don’t have to be sorry, I understand. What was the name of the killer?’

‘They said it was an American. I remember his name like I see the scars on my arms. His name was Mitch Crowne. Why?’

    ‘He’s still alive.’

‘Shut up…’, Alexander’s simple response was in a confusing tone.

‘Mitch Crowne was seen in Italy, Hungary and Italy again. Rumours are that he was involved in the brutal attack on known local gangster Stefano di Consci and a number of his best trained men, including Andrei.’

Alexander sighed deeply. ‘I don’t care what he did lately, if he’s alive, I want him death. Do you have any footage? Recent footage?’

‘Yes we have. He has half long brown hair it seems.’

    Ten minutes later…

Alexander was still in the same room with Luther standing next to him. On the wooden desk, a map was laying with a classified file and old pictures of Mitch Crowne and the recent pictures.

‘Ivan Groyetski. I heard you’re a busy man these days.’

‘Alexander Vaslowski. To what do I owe the pleasure?’

‘Mitch Crowne. Does that ring any bells?’

‘You’re kidding me? I watched the man die years ago.’

‘I don’t know who you saw. But I can proof you that he is still very much alive. And you know
