Destroying Literature
Destroyed papers,
Discarded with the
Rest of the refuse.
So sad to let them
Go only for
The concern
Of limited space.
Not much more
Room in this place,
Except for the air
We breathe.
So sad that they
Are going away,
Out of sight,
Out of mind,
Which does
Not always
Mean that it’s fine.
(If not for the Internet,
Which is a means to
Preserve them all.)
Oh, to live in a world
Of words, which
Are impervious
To everything.

Tears sprang from my eyes;
I cannot tell You how much
You mean to me!
And, I know that I can
Trust You because Your
Love never fails
(Despite the many times
That I’ve failed You).
And I must realize
What’s most important
In life as I give You thanks!

Oh, Lord, how
Sweet is Your name—
Much more than
Any music to my
Ears.
Everlasting glory
To our God of
Wisdom, power, and
Mercy.
Sing praises to
The One Who
Has given life
To us all,
Because, without
Him, we are
Truly nothing!

Almost slipped
My mind, nothing
Quite like an
Afterthought; I
Remembered, in
The Nick of time,
To wish you happiness
On your day of birth.
*dedicated to Nick Rhodes, Happy Birthday!

What Is a Father?
He is someone special,
The man who gave us life.
He is someone caring,
The man who gave us love.
He is someone wise,
The man who
Guided us.
He is someone
Providing,
The man who
Fulfilled his
Children’s needs
And teaching
Them how to live.
He is someone proud,
The man
Who praised
Us for our
Accomplishments.
And, most important of all...
...he is you!
*dedicated to Robert Selinsky and Randy Potts

What would
Father’s Day be
If not for You?
You, who has
Created the world
And all its nations.
You, who gave us
Life and created
Us in Your image.
You, who has taught
Us the meaning of
Love and forgiveness.
Glory be to God,
Father to us all!
*dedicated to our Heavenly Father
