The Armor of God (A Deeper Understanding)
()
About this ebook
Do you realize scripture tells us to put on the armor? We are not told to ask God to put it on for us. Guess what? You can't pray it on. When you go through the different pieces of armor, you realize that they are all linked to knowledge. You have to learn them on. And not just learn them on, you must also realize the level of understanding in that area is an indication of the strength of that part of the armor. The level of knowledge and understanding you have on each part of the armor is the strength of that area. The more you know (And apply) about faith the stronger your shield of faith will be! This is why when studying the armor we have to do diligence to learn as much as we can about each piece of the armor. Misconceptions about putting on the armor has allowed the enemy to overcome many Christians who go into battle powerless.
You have to learn to operate in truth at all times.
Know your authority through righteousness (Faith and Love).
Understand the peace of the Gospel and how to walk in it.
How does the shield of faith stop the fiery darts of the wicked?
What is the Helmet of Salvation?
How do we successfully use God's Word. (Sword of Spirit.)
How to Pray in the spirit effectively according to God's instructions.
We are going to go deep into the knowledge of the armor because how are you going to help others learn it on, if you are not aware of how to do it yourself? I get so frustrated every time I see a congregation being told to pray on the armor every morning when in truth it is learned knowledge that applies this Spiritual armor. Once you learn the spiritual wisdom in each area (parts of the armor) and walk in it, then it does not come off unless you take it off by walking out of the truth. Take a deep breath. Let's get started.
Samuel Williams
Samuel Williams is a master at combining pen, paper, and content. In this book he has magically woven the fictious world of trees into the fabric of human thinking and advancement. This book is another brilliant illustration of Williams’ one-of-a-kind storylines, characters, and storytelling. In this book Williams treats a highly uncommon storyline and central character as fluently and fluidly as he has done so with each of his other storylines and characters. Much like his other works, this book is also a must read for young critical thinkers. Not only has Williams infused joviality and humor in places, but he has also infused this story with gravity and several thought-inspiring ideas. His flare for storytelling is unmatched and should be experienced by as many students as possible. The combination of his 30 years as an English and writing teacher, 15 years as a photojournalist, and years as a freelance writer all serve to help him create some of the highest quality and most desirous books for young readers in the market today.

Chapter 1
The King's Highway
2 Cor 10:4
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
KJV
This is something I want everyone reading this book to understand; it is impossible for you to lose the war for your soul if you obey Christ. Nothing and no one In Christ will be lost in this war. One of the biggest problems with Christianity today is that Christians believe that because they confess Christ, that they are In Christ. Those that are IN Christ confess and obey, not just confess.
If you have seen sumo wrestlers in Japan, you will realize their fight is not just to beat the other fighter. Their struggle is actually to stay standing in the ring while forcing the other wrestler out of the ring. Think of your fight as fighting to remain in Christ while fighting to push everything, not like Christ, out of your body and soul. There are complete and unequivocal instructions on how to do this in scripture. Your weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty. Once you make up your mind that you are going to follow Christ and do exactly what He commanded, then you cannot be defeated in this war. If you follow through on your confession, it is impossible to lose. This is a process, and you have to keep this determination from the beginning to the end.
King's Highway
Early in my Christian walk, God gave me a powerful vision. I was walking in a desert on this winding road. Even though the road was winding, I could see off in the distance that it was headed in one direction. To the right and left of me, all I saw was red dirt desert as far as the eye could see. I could not see where the road ended (It also went on as far as I could see). Then I noticed something horrifying! There were piles of bones everywhere, not just piles of bones, but piles of human bones. They were everywhere. It looked like people just dropped and either rotted or were devoured in the very spot that they took their last step. The only evidence that they were there was a pile of whitewashed bones. I stood still just looking around in sadness. I realized that so many other people started this journey, only to die on the way. So many never made it to their destination. Piles of bones were everywhere, as far as I could see. I have to admit, I felt discouraged. I started wondering if so many could not make it, then what chance did I have of making it? Then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, Notice there are no bones on the road.
Prov 21:16
16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead .
KJV
I got it! There could have been billions of piles of bones out there, but not one single bone was laying on the road. I saw piles right next to the road and many off in the distance but not a single piece on the pathway. I received one of the greatest and most encouraging revelations a Christian could have! Everyone who stayed on the road made it! I also realized that whatever destroyed those people, which those piles of bones represented, could not come on the road and kill anyone. Everyone who was devoured or died wondered off the road. The enemy's strategy comes down to one thing, getting believers to walk off the road. The road is the King's Highway and all IN CHRIST, which is to confess and obey, tread on it! That is why it is also known as The Way of Holiness!
Isa 35:8-10
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
KJV
Understand that the essence of the Christian fight to overcome is not a battle to defeat the devil, because in truth he is already defeated. Our struggle as Christians is to stay on the road and finish the journey, which ends when we ultimately put on Christ! To put on Christ is to transform our souls into the image that reflects Christ. When we are on the road, we become powerful vessels of God to help others, which includes our families. We are lights in a time of darkness. This light allows others to see their way to the road where there is safety and rest.
This is why it is so important to understand why you as a parent need to stay on the King's Highway, and learn how to effectively use your weapons of warfare to maintain your position on the road. Others are depending on you to show them the way. The world has deceived people into thinking they can be lost in
