CHAPTER 1
PAUL
Pretty Paul-ey.
That’s what they always called him. It was a nickname that his older sister, Lila, had given him back when he was younger and it had stuck with him all the way into adulthood. She always used to tell him that he should have been a girl, but he had just laughed it off.
It hadn’t bothered him at all when he was little, but as he got older, the ‘cute’ little nickname that his sister had so innocently given him had started to feel more like a curse or a burden, rather than an endearing nickname.

In his wolf form, his fur coat was full and glossy and his emerald eyes only brightened further.
To his misfortune, however, no matter how good-looking he might’ve been, his pretty looks had never brought him much success in his love life. In fact, he thought his looks had only hindered it.
All his life, Paul had wanted nothing more than to find his mate. His sister had found hers over a year ago and had left the pack to be with him. As it was, she was already pregnant and expecting her first child – somewhere miles away.
Her mate was from a different pack, and although Paul had visited her a few times at her new pack and was excited about becoming an uncle, he still longed for a mate of
