      A brisk breeze blew through the open door of the main barn at Happy Hollow Stables, and Holly Bridges ran to shut it. I’m ready for spring.

      You and me, both, agreed McKenzie, her assistant. She turned back to the horse she was brushing. "I’m ready to host another show, and I’ve gotten most of our young students excited about it. Unfortunately, I think we might have to wait a while. The Hill City Herald is calling for a late-winter snow."

      Holly snorted. Maybe we need to get a groundhog to start making weather predictions. I’m sure it would be more accurate than that terrible paper.

      Well, sometimes they’re right, and everyone is going nuts over it. McKenzie put the curry comb back in the brush bucket and pulled her cell phone out of her pocket. Look. The link to the article about it has gotten tons of shares on social media, and they’re telling everyone to prepare.
