CHAPTER ONE
THE CONSORTIUM OF THREE KINGS
Psalm 110:1
The LORD said unto my Lord, you sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.
Mark 12:35-37
35. "And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
36. For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make your enemies thy footstool.
37. David therefore himself called him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly."
Throughout history, this is one of the greatest consortium which was ever convened; the consortium of three kings. The impact and greatness of this august meeting was that, it was attended by two Kings who constitute two thirds of the Trinity of the Godhead and a single human king was invited uniquely in attendance: King David; son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, whom God accorded the title: God’s first born among the kings of the earth.
Psalm 89: 27
Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
It was no wonder from the above quotation that King David was singularly invited to attend this powerful consortium because a father will always invite the first born to discuss matters of the family with and not the other junior members of the family. It should be made emphatically clear here that everything which happen the on earth has already happened in the spirit realm. Whether it is coming from God’s side or Satan headquarters. God who created the universe which includes the heavens and the earth is the Spiritual Being. Satan also who exists as the sole and leading rebel general in the whole universe, using fallen angels with him and human beings to destroy at large on earth is a spirit being as well, therefore whether it is coming from God to the earth or from Satan to the earth, it is from the spiritual realm. God created the heaven first lived in it before deciding to create the earth so the earth does not precede the heaven but the heaven does.
Psalm 110:1 was a consortium organized by the Father with Jesus Christ and King David in attendance. The topic to be discussed in this august meeting was not made known to us as far as the above quotation is concerned, but the theme can be deduced from the conclusion of the matter in which the Father said to Jesus Christ, "You sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. The proof of the fact that the second divine Person in attendance at this conference was not God the Holy Spirit but Jesus Christ is because it was Jesus Christ to whom this scripture was a prophecy to and confirmed on Him by the Apostle Paul and Peter.
Hebrews1:1-3, 13
1. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2. Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
3. Who being the brightness of glory, and the expressed image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high."
1Peter 3:22
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
This conference was organized by the Father so that King David’s incessant troubling of his heart’s question could be discussed and the ultimate answer decided upon in heaven made plain to him. Since the dawn of history, every man strives to live righteously above sin but the fact is that the more you try, the deeper you sink. Abraham told a lie to Pharaoh the potentate of Egypt and after the incident, almost three to four years his relationship with God became dull and until God himself called him again and said;
Genesis 17:1
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; you should walk before me, and be perfect.
This meeting was being organized to clear these issues bothering and tormenting King David so that he would know, be comforted and have hope that at the right in history, God will permanently deal with the problem and power of sin making the human race constantly guilty before the heaven’s administration of justice and righteousness. Therefore God made it known to King David that at the right time Jesus Christ would allow Himself to be conceived by a virgin on earth, undergo the nine months procreation order through conception to pregnancy and delivery to be born as a human being on earth of which revelation and promise is in;
Psalm 14:5
There were they(demons, satan and wicked human beings) in great fear: for God is in the generation(genealogy) of the righteous.
And confirmed in
Matthew 1:1
The book of the generation(genealogy) of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
The great insight here is that when Satan deceived Adam and Eve to follow him and they did, they fell and the devil and his demons decided to indwell men and women and thereby cause diseases in our system, distort our life, manipulate human beings to live like animals; without sense of direction and purpose in life. Jesus Christ could have still chosen to drop from heaven and live among us with the necessary explanation and offer his blood to save mankind and it would have been possible. However, because Satan and demons decided to possess man and dwell in our blood system, Jesus Christ chose to be born through a human being as well so that he meet the demons in the blood and knock them out! This is the meaning of Psalm 14:5 above; because if you read the preceding four verses above, it talks about wicked men and their cruelty in general, because they are demonically inhabited, refuses to have any relationship with God and chose to destroy human life and God’s purposes for humanity in general.
There is also another mystery in the word which was authored by the Father to the Son in this specific conference. When the Father said, You sit on my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool
is fantastic such that we don’t welcome anybody and give the person sit when the person is living with us daily, hourly, monthly and in years. The reason being that we are all here and no major event has taken place except like leaving a porch to go to a room and come back.
So here the point is when in history did Jesus leave heaven enough within a period of time to warrant His welcome?
Philippians 2:6-7
6. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
Psalm 40:6-8
6. Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; my ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.
7. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8. I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart."
Hebrews 2:14-15
14. "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people."
This is no other period in history than the period He left His throne, glory, power, dominion and crown and allowed Himself to be born as a human being to die for the sins of mankind! A period of around 35 years. The angel Gabriel was sent from heaven by God to go to Nazareth and announce unto her who had been chosen by God to give birth to the savior of the whole world. Of course it should be understood that Mary was not pregnant the next day. So if we assume a three month period, couple with nine months pregnancy, making one year. Jesus lived 33 years, six months on earth to the cross and spent 40 days after His resurrection on earth before ascending back into heaven. So that at least the 35 years vacation from His throne to the planet earth is reasonable.
So that to King David it meant great revelation then to him and to us also who are living long after Jesus Christ came to die and went back into heaven seated at the right hand side waiting patiently until the Father will make His enemies His footstool, we know and understand simultaneously what a great prophecy that statement was!
Lastly on this chapter, have you ever wondered or thought about the throne of Jesus Christ before and the fact when He was on earth He laid claim to kingship. Not only did he lay claim to kingship but all the prophecies in the bible about Him prove that Jesus Christ is, was and is King. We all talk about the kingship of Christ alright, but in the whole bible where did He ever sit on a throne to warrant His kingship? For kingship claimant, any person can claim kingship by mouth and proclamation; go to the store, buy a royal Kente cloth, king’s sandals, crown, regalia etc. The person can easily pay a hundred worthless youth to carry him on a palanquin and proclaim himself King. Anybody just passing by who does not the origin of this person may easily accept that this man dancing in a palanquin is a king. The only distinguishing feature above all else separating a king from any ordinary man on the street is his throne.
The reality of the case is that it is only the thrones which even the wife of the king cannot sit upon, his children, other minor chiefs in his kingdom, elders, counselors and so on. The throne is made for only one man and that is the king. Therefore for us to proof the kingship of Jesus Christ, we must see an occasion in the bible where Jesus Christ was seen seated on His throne to authentic His kingship. It is in the above scenario Psalm 110:1 that we see Jesus Christ seated on His throne. After He had defeated sin, Satan, death and hell, resurrected and ascended back to heaven then the Father asked Him to sit back on His throne again. There is another scene in the Old Testament in which Christ was seen seated on His throne with angels in attendance, these strong revelations and others are in my book; THE THRONE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. For now, may we move on to chapter two from here and continue our journey.
CHAPTER TWO
SAVIORS
Throughout history, men and women have come and gone as it is written in;
Ecclesiastes 1:4
One generation passes away, and another generation comes, but the earth abides forever.
Some achieved great things and made history; others too were not able to make impact and also passed on the same way. There were people whose interventions in their generations live on and last forever because it was so powerful at the time and plays a central role in the life of the people, not even then but until now also. In Ghana, we talk about THE GREAT SIX: Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Emmnauel ObedtsebeyLamptey, Emmnauel Arko Adjei, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Edward Akuffo Addo (the father of our current President in Ghana) and Willliam Ofori Atta. Dr Kwame Nkrumah so distinguished himself and went on to fight for the immediate independence of the nation that, every year his name is mentioned and most of the economic developments he did in Ghana are even still being used after sixty years.
Now let us read a summary of the few of these people who made great impact in their generations saving situations and improving lives.
Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa (63-12 B.C.)
He was the greatest military Commander General of Rome after the passing away of Julius Caesar.
Peter Abelard (1079-1142)
Mediaeval philosopher and divine, born near Nantes, pupil of William of Champeaux. The most celebrated dialectician of the day. Unrivalled in philosophy, he acquired great fame as a teacher and attained great scholastic glory.
EDWARD ANTHONY JENNER (1749-1823)
The history of the rise and fall of smallpox is a success story for modern
medicine and public health. Even though the disease has been eradicated, the threat of its return has once again brought it to the forefront of public controversy.
The origin of smallpox is uncertain, but it is believed to have originated in Africa and then spread to India
