*THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS DEMOCRACY*

THE END OF RELIGION IS NEAR

After Jerusalem and God’s temple were destroyed in 586 B.C. Israel became a conquered nation of slaves who asked their God when they would be free from the oppression of the Kings that ruled over them. God gave them a prophecy that told them exactly when they would have their freedom and when they would become a nation again. God told them that their nation would be trampled down by foreign nations until seven times passed over it. As amazing as it seems, the prophecy God gave them came true just as he foretold. Not only did Israel become a nation again according to the prophecy but they also resurrected their former governing structure that did not have a King. The end of the seven times of the gentiles also signalled the return of the Kingdom of God they were promised would come again. Christians have been waiting for the Kingdom of God to come and it came on time as promised however just like Israel did not recognise Jesus and killed him, religion today rejects the Kingdom of God because they do not recognise what it is.

We will begin with what the Kingdom of God is because many want real answers that they can understand and are not satisfied to believe that the Bible is a mystery that cannot be solved. What is the Kingdom of God that we have heard so much about? My search for the Kingdom of God has changed my opinion about what religion has been teaching and now I believe that religious leaders have got the Bible message wrong. If the Kingdom of God cannot be found in church then where is it? What I have found in my search has changed my life and perhaps it will change yours too.

After leaving religion behind, I discovered the Kingdom of God that Christians believe is coming is already here but they do not recognise it. Religion has put a veil over the Bible message so that even the religious leaders have been deceived. What I have written is a thesis on the Bible message as an opposing argument to religions message on where the Kingdom of God can be found. This may be the first time that the Kingdom of God is being revealed as Democracy which has also been labelled the new world order. This means that going to church and being a good person may not be all that it takes to get into heaven or to escape Armageddon.

Israel wanted freedom from their oppressors and God provided them a governing system that has public servants as leaders instead of Kings. I discovered that the evolution of democracy and how it unfolds in the real world is what the Bible prophets were writing about and to understand the Bible this way gives the message a whole new meaning. You too may have been searching for answers by attending religious meetings and have lost confidence that religious leaders know what they are talking about.

Every Bible enthusiast has been waiting for the Kingdom of God to come with Jesus as it’s King. This is what Christians pray for. Most are convinced that they are able to identify the Kingdom of God because the Bible gives us many details about him and his new social order. If you are a Bible enthusiast and seek to identify the Kingdom of God, then this book may provide answers to questions about what the Kingdom of God is and is not. What I found after searching my whole life could not be found in religion and the end result was completely unexpected and not what I was looking for.

The evolution of democracy is documented in our historical records and it reveals how governing authority is transferred into the hands of the most powerful and educated individuals in our society. At first there were tribal governing systems where people all agreed on how things should be done. Eventually the leaders of the tribes became Kings over the people and took power for themselves. As time went on the people became more educated and the power of the King became divided and republics emerged that were governed by an elite class. As public education increases more people take their piece of wealth and power until all of it eventually gets divided up among the people and democracy is born.

This social transformation follows a cycle from sovereign King to the sovereign individual perpetuated by the establishment of human rights and liberties that Kings must observe. It begins with sovereign Kings having all the power and inevitably loosing it to a powerful elite class who then loose their power to the educated masses until the people obtain all the power ending the transformation with sovereign individuals enslaving their leaders.

This explanation may be over simplified but it is easy to follow. The evolution of democracy is a trend that can be transferred to a graph and monitored as populations rise and higher education permeates society. Governing power is continually being divided up among the highly educated and this trend will continue until everyone has their share of knowledge, wealth and power. An example of the highly educated taking power is that bankers and corporate leaders now have more wealth and power than most governments. Those that do not educate themselves fare badly however democracy provides the opportunity for everyone to obtain knowledge, wealth and governing authority. As education increases the public receives governing privileges in the power of their votes and petitions which are counted to make changes to our laws and policies. Our government and society as a whole is in constant flux and significant changes are happening due to the increase of public education, the evolution of our morals and ethics and the proliferation of human rights and freedoms that allow us to choose how we want to live.

Education is providing us the enlightenment that will eventually give all humanity freedom from the bonds of Kings and dictators even liberating us from debt and debtors. God wants us to be free but also wants us to be responsible for our actions so that we learn to do things the right way for ourselves. God gave us a promise that the Kingdom of God would be free of war, crime and violence so that citizens within the new world society would be healthy, wealthy and happy. Bible prophets gave us details about the Kingdom of God so that we could identify it. We must take a second look at democracy to see if it fits the description of the Kingdom of God in the Bible. Democracy has liberated Israel from slavery. Democracy provides servants as leaders. Jesus said the Kingdom of God is in your hearts and democracy allows what is in our hearts to become law for us. These are just a few examples that fit the Kingdom of God descriptions in the Bible that have come true through democracy.

Religious followers assumed it would be easy to identify the Kingdom of God because we were taught that the people living there would be ruled over by a benevolent King. Christians have been expecting a warrior King to come and destroy all of the Kingdoms of the earth and that the Kingdom of God would stand alone as the only global governing authority. It is clear that democracy has been the force behind the removal of Kings and dictators so we need to consider if democracy itself is the Kingdom of God.

The law that is written on our hearts is slowly transforming our laws and this is creating a benevolent intellectual society but we are not there yet because democracy is still in it’s infancy. Democracy is establishing human rights and freedoms that will eventually erode all the power of Kings until they are replaced with public servants that do the will of the people. The Bible itself helps us identify the Kingdom of God as democracy. Daniel 2v44 tells us that the Kingdom of God would wipe out all of the Kings and Kingdoms of the earth, and the system that replaces them all would be the Kingdom of God. Recent history proves that democracy is removing authoritarians and it became a world power at the same time Bible prophets told us that the Kingdom of God would come to earth. The rise of democracy signalled the end of the old system of things. (2 Peter 2v19, John 8v32)

Bible writers described a pattern of events that would happen in due course as democracy replaced Kings. The pattern of social change was difficult to identify in times past because each generation experienced only small adjustments in their laws that were establishing human rights and freedoms for them like the end of slavery. Only a few people perceived the changing patterns that were developing thousands of years ago and those philosophers and intellects recorded the evolution of human rights that Kings must observe until their power was completely subjected to the rights of the people.

The establishment of human rights is removing the power of Kings. These new freedoms have helped increase the level of public education that empowers the people to make democracy stronger and the prophets tell us that this trend will conclude in a greater global democracy that provides universal freedom from Kings and tyrants. Without democracy there is no freedom. The establishment of human rights and liberties is the driving force behind our political evolution which is happening in small increments over a very long period of time.
