INTRODUCTION
Floral Abundance 1
With its central blocks of hearts and wreaths, corner olive trees, and flowing floral borders, this quilt is a delight to make. Its exuberant mix of flowers is typical of my signature style, and I love the result. Don’t be put off by the degree of detail; if you take it one step at a time, it isn’t as challenging as it looks. For more information, please refer to my books Euphoria Tapestry Quilts and Beautiful Botanicals (both by C&T Publishing). Instructions are given for the cream version of this quilt, but it looks fabulous in brighter colorways, too.
All of the central 12˝ square blocks can be enlarged to 18˝ to make gorgeous individual pillows.

THE BASICS
Positioning Appliqués on the Background
1. Cut each background piece with a generous seam allowance of about 1˝. Trim it to the correct size after the appliqué and embroidery are completed.
