An interesting look at a variety of gods with some rituals to get some insights into the idea and aspects of them.

As a person who does not know much about specific Gods and Wiccan rituals, this book was a very good introduction. As a reader who is uneducated in Wiccan lore and Gods, I cannot say anthing about the accuracy, but as a person with interest in these areas, the books works great. It is laid out in a easy to understand way, with enough info about Gods and associated rituals to each God. It is catagorized by God, with associated rituals in the same chapter. One drawback is that it only covers Gods, and you have to buy the corresponding book "The Witches Goddess" to find out more about corresponding Goddesses, since most Wiccan work that I've been involved with has worked with corelating God and Goddesses. All and all, this books is great as an intro to Gods, Paganism, Wicca, and ritual, but not for advanced practice. It is a very useful guide to those new to practicing with or relating to Wiccan Gods. It comes of very Wiccan. A witch is not necessarily a Wiccan, just as a Wiccan is not necessarily a Witch. Witches or pagans who are not Wiccan may find the book interesting, but would need to ignore the wiccan slant in how it's written.
