      Fitting instructions, construction instructions, 9 patterns I want to knit.Sizes range from 40" to 66" bust measurements, though some of the patterns only go to the high 50's.

      This book helps knitters learn to customize the fit of sweaters to their preference and body shape, particularly the fit of plus-sized sweaters. The author, Lisa Shroyer, assumes a basic knowledge of sweater construction and terminology in her writing, so I recommend new knitters find a beginner's reference for their first sweater. There are several beautiful sweaters to choose from, and Lisa includes thorough notes on each pattern to help knitters successfully customize the sweaters. Shroyer breaks her narrative into a couple introductory chapters, followed by a look at different basic sweater styles (circular yoke, raglan sleeve, etc.); one style per chapter. She discusses the merits and pitfalls of each style for women who wear larger sizes, and offers recommendations for customizing the style. She also discusses which body types each sweater style flatters. There are a few sweaters in each chapter — beautifully designed with an eye to flattering shapely women.
