Well Ezra isn't my real name obviously but I liked the name so I decided to use it. I live at home with my five dogs and one cat. I started out writing hetero romance novels but it wasn't where my heart lied. I adore all things paranormal and M/M is by far my favorite genre so I decided to start writing Paranormal Romances. There's a guaranteed happy ending with each of my books even if it may take some time for my guys to get there. I love each and every character on the page as if they were my own children. It sounds weird but that’s how I feel about them. ? I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but only started actively pursuing it as a career three years ago when I decided to stop working in a salon and pursue writing full time. Since I published my first book in 2014 I have written and released nine other books with many more to come. My current list of projects is longer than my arm so I look forward to writing and creating new stories for my readers to enjoy ?

I follow the team into the lab clearing rooms as we go. The guys ahead of us are emptying the cages, directing the rescued paranormals out of the building. The state of some of these people is nothing short of horrific. It’s surprising that cruelty like this still exists. We clear another floor and keep moving. There’s shouting up ahead so I quicken my pace. If the guys have a fight on their hands I want to be there to help.

Turning the corner, a delicious scent tickles my nose, like burnt marshmallows and licorice. The scent of my beloved but there’s also the scent of blood. I break into a run but when I reach the spot where the scent originated there’s only an empty cage, a broken window, and a frazzled looking wolf.

    What happened here?

The wolf sighs and says, One of the vampires made a break for it as soon as we opened the cage, jumped right out the window.

A vampire? My beloved is a vampire? But how is that possible? Vampires are never paired with each other. I’m not entirely sure of the specifics of it, but I think it’s something to do with blood intake. We get our blood from others and if we feed off each other it defeats the purpose, so to speak. Or something like that.

Snapping myself out of my thoughts I look at the wolf and say, Once we clear the building, get a team together. We’ll track the vampire that jumped. Who knows what that scientist bastard has done to make someone jump out of a window rather than receive help.

Just hang on beloved, I’m coming for you.

It’s been two weeks. Two whole weeks of searching for my beloved and I’ve come up empty. I’ve exhausted every avenue I could think of. Even reached out to other covens in the area. None of them have come across my beloved. I don’t even know what he looks like or what his name is. The wolf that freed him said he was gone so fast he didn’t get a good look at the man.

I’m beginning to wonder if it’s for the best. I’ve got this dark need to be taken a certain way in the bedroom but every partner I’ve asked always refuses. I would expect that my beloved wouldn’t refuse my request but after so many have done so, I’m afraid to take the chance. So, maybe my not finding him is for the best. It’ll save me the heartache of
