Stolen Bases, Stolen Kisses: The Little League Series, #8
()
About this ebook
Laurie plays softball. Lots of softball. Her weekends, booked solid. Dating, all but impossible.
Every reasonable Date Day... also a Game Day... also a Practice Day... also a Pitching-Lesson Day. If Laurie cancels one more date, Mark will walk.
But the real problem: her dad.
"Stolen Bases, Stolen Kisses," a story of grabbing life by the (soft)balls, digging your cleats in, and sliding headfirst into home plate. (Or a really big daddy-daughter argument.) The character who inspired the novel, "Home Run."

About the Author
The Little League Series
One
There was a reason Laurie didn’t have many dates. True, her weekends were booked solid with softball games—and waiting around for the games to start—but that was only part of the problem .
The other problem, the bigger problem, was her dad. Her softball coach. The guy who scheduled the tournaments, picked who batted where in the line-up, and most importantly, told Laurie what pitches to throw.
Dad had a way of making sure any reasonable Date Day was also a Game Day. Or a Practice Day. Or a Pitching Lesson Day.
After the fourth date-redo, Laurie knew if she cancelled on this one, Mark would walk. We’re talking out of the ballpark kind of walk. The kind you didn’t turn around to see if anyone was watching.
Which was really uncool. Mark was the only cute guy in her class who also didn’t freak when she showed him her battle wounds.
Greg had practically bolted into the boy’s locker room when she hiked up her shorts to show him her newest raspberry—a giant red welch of scratches, dried blood, and bruising.
You know, normal things. She didn’t even have a chance to tell
