      I found the story boring. I consider it a forgivable flop as it probably was the author’s first book. The characters are shallow and not very smart.
      The plot also was disappointing, typical cliche’ of the ugly duckling becoming a beautiful swan. The plot was very poor and inconsistent.
      I preferred : The lady’s secret.

      I don’t like the unfaithfulness but it’s a pleasant book.

      When you need something to break your heart, this is the book. It had me in tears and few books manage that anymore.
