About this ebook
Tomorrow Could Be Wonderful: 365 Selections from Brian’s Poem of the Day is a collection of poetry which began as an ambitious project called Brian’s Poem of the Day. The goal was to send an original poem each day by email to a list of subscribers. The first of these poems was published on Friday, July 22, 2016 and appropriately titled Carpe Diem.
Over a period of months Brian’s Poem of the Day established a reputation for consistency and became appreciated for publishing easily accessible poems with expansive themes exploring love, death and spirituality. The list has since found a core group of readers and has also led to a poetry retreat called Men Writing for Change.
Friday, July 21, 2017, the poem called Tiny Seed marked the first anniversary of Brian’s Poem of the Day. This milestone thus inspired Tomorrow Could Be Wonderful, a volume of poetry offered in the collective spirit for which each poem was written, as a daily meditation. For convenience, the poems are ordered from January 1st to December 31st, and according to their date of publication. There is no absolute starting or ending point to this collection. The poems are simply offered to the reader in an open and generous spirit, which hopefully lends itself to their enjoyment and use in meditative practices.
Tomorrow Could Be Wonderful: 365 Selections from Brian’s Poem of the Day is the second volume of poetry inspired by Brian’s Poem of the Day. The first is More Bull: Songs of serenity and surrender...
