    Economists have affirmed that human needs are insatiable, so man would always have some unmet desires. Where the strength of man fails, those that believe in the existence of God turn to Him. Man would always turn to God to quench his thirst for greatness, fruitfulness, success and the almost innumerable needs. But after the thirst of man has been quenched, does anybody stop to ask if there is anything God thirsts for? Does God have an expectation from man? Can the all-sufficient and self-sufficient God ever need anything from man that could be equivalent to the thirst of man for water? Is it possible for God who is the King of the Universe, the King of glory, and the King of kings, to thirst? Whilst God may not thirst for natural water, He do thirst, The King thirsts! However, just as often demonstrated by the earthly Monarchs, the King of kings have tastes and choices. He does not accept just anything. What then does this King thirst for?     Ademola Adedeji, a Deacon in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Ilorin, and Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan. He is the Coordinator of Students Industrial Work-Experience Scheme (SIWES) at the Redeemer’s University, Ede, Nigeria; he was the first Head of the Business Development Unit at dbs Media Limited, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria and a former Business Development Officer at the Redeemer’s University Business Consult Limited, Redemption Camp, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is a Sunday School Teacher; House Fellowship Leader; School of Disciples and House Fellowship Leadership Programme Facilitator; the Staff Coordinator of both the Bible Study Unit, and the Drama Unit at Redeemer’s University Chapel; Senior Consultant/Chief Executive Officer of De Valueplus Creations, an Agribusiness Consulting Firm based in Nigeria; Initiator/Chairman of the Redefined Education Endowment Foundation (a.k.a. tReE Funds); Senior Facilitator of ‘STAND OUT’, an inspirational outreach to High Schools in Nigeria; and Convener of ‘Future Leaders’ Summit for High School Students, and tReE Funds’ Live Mentoring Session for Higher Institution Students and Young Professionals.
