About this ebook
Recipe for Success provides a step-by-step guide that enables readers to create high profile food brands and a business that can make and sell these products successfully. The book assists readers to analyse their business and where the opportunities for growth and improvement lie. It also helps readers to design profitable products that will underpin their brand and sell successfully into retailers. The book also contains a number of case studies of companies that have achieved great success, as well as those that have not been as successful.
Drawing from these examples and from Karen’s own expansive experience, Recipe for Success helps readers to avoid some of the pitfalls of starting a food business. Written with the aim of enabling every food business to evolve in the food industry, Karen has written a unique book that will appeal to both established food businesses and readers who are just starting out in the industry. It will also appeal to readers interested in the UK food retail industry as it offers a fresh perspective on how to create value from a food business, whether it has already been established or is on the horizon.

Karen Green is a renowned national speaker, and her life story has been featured on the I Am Second website and also in the book I Am Second: Real Stories. Changing Lives. She says, “I found hope to spring alive in my life through the process of truth of the Word of God that brought healing by my surrendering to Jesus Christ. He is my savior. In him, I found liberty that set me free from bondage of my past. I now minister to others who also find themselves held captive by life’s bondage by declaring the resurrection power of the hope in Jesus Christ, making known to them that there is hope in Jesus Christ.” Karen founded an outreach ministry called the Haven of Love, which continues to be a reminder to hurting women of our society that “you can begin again!” And her desire is that this daily devotional will become a tool to help bring healing to others. Karen travels with International Prison Ministries, and her testimony is featured on the I Am Second website. She was also a guest on Life Today with James and Bettie Robinson, and her story was also featured on The 700 Club. In 2001, her story was highlighted in Gospel Today (Closing the Gate).
