About this ebook

After the grisly death of the Gemini Killer, the Fletchers leave their home in Ohio to spend some time in the mountains of Tennessee. The cabin they had bought was beautiful and isolated, just the place for the Fletchers to get away from all thoughts of what had happened such a short time ago. The gruesome events surrounding that incident were nothing to the terror and danger they would face as they become prisoners of two very desperate and evil men.

The isolation that was such a blessing had now become a curse. And this time Angela found herself bound and gagged, constantly threatened as to what would happen to her and her family if she didn't behave. And Angela is unable to speak. A chilling tale of supernatural suspense.

    The Cabin

Ah, we’re here! Patrick Fletcher announced as they pulled up to a quaint little cabin with a real estate agent sign on the window.

They had traveled all day from Cincinnati down I-75 into Gatlinburg, Tennessee. After a nice dinner and a little touring of the town, the Fletchers were back in the car, Patrick on his cell while Penelope was looking in her compact mirror. Angela was watching in the back seat, politely saying nothing.

Yes, Gwendolyn. This is Patrick Fletcher. Yes, we’re here... Uh-huh. The keys are where? Ok. Thank you. I’ll see you tomorrow to sign the rest of the papers. Thank you. He hung up the phone, got out of the car, and walked up to the realtor’s door which he knew was already closed for the day for whatever reason. There was a small row of lockboxes next to the door. He went to one of them, punched in a code, and reached inside to retrieve the contents – a set of new, shiny keys. Smiling, he came back to the car and dangled the shiny metal pieces.

The keys to our new home-away-from-home, he said smiling brighter. Penelope smiled as well, casting a sidewise glance at their daughter. Angela was also smiling, though not as fully as mom and dad, a fact they were both aware of. Penelope glanced at her husband and a knowing glance was exchanged. Patrick jumped into the car and put it into gear. He wanted to get to their destination as fast as possible.

Dr. Wilson, the child psychiatrist they had Angela talk with after the horrors that had culminated with the mysterious and horrific death of the Gemini Killer in their home, wanted to spend more time with the precocious child, but for some reason was compelled to cut the sessions short. The Fletchers well understood why this was so, as they understood their daughter’s gift better than anybody else. Still, Dr. Wilson DID suggest an immediate vacation would probably do them all some good, and Patrick thought getting a cabin in the mountains would be nice. Penelope agreed, so Pat bought one. At first, Penelope thought it was foolish, but then after a bit, she started thinking how nice it would be to have a nice retreat to go to anytime they chose.

Penelope looked back at her daughter as they started to drive, trying to read any emotion her daughter may be having. Angela was looking out the window, a blank expression on her face. The shadows of the trees danced across her face as they drove. She looked at her mother a moment, smiled a cute smile, and turned her attention again to the outside. Penelope smiled back, but
