About this ebook
This is the moving story of how a Japanese lawyer and educational consultant from a conservative family of fan makers and merchants came to embrace Judaism.
In his early 50s, while living in the US, he developed a serious health complaint which required sophisticated medical treatment and a drastic change of diet. This led to some serious soul-searching and to his decision to adopt the Jewish faith.
The book describes vividly and with humour the many challenges he and his wife, with the support and understanding of their children, had to overcome. He hopes readers will find something inspiring from his experiences.
