    Tony and Alden’s relationship is at its peak.       Chapter 1

      Tony really hates when Alden has to go on business trips.

      The short ones-the trips that last only one or two days-they’re not ideal, but Tony can handle them. He focuses on his own job and busies himself with chores around the house to make the time pass by more quickly.

      When Alden’s job steals him away for more than a week, however, Tony finds that preoccupying himself is not such an easy thing to do. He slips into a bit of a depression, longing to be in his boyfriend’s strong arms and counting down the moments until that’s possible once again.

      Over these past few years, Alden has become such a fixture in Tony’s life
