      As I saw Sue being dragged away, screaming all the way, by Al Qaeda (or Isis, or whatever they are calling themselves nowadays), I thought to myself: Not again .

      The harsh heat of Syria was frying my face. I was no longer sweating, as all the water in my body had long evaporated. The smell of burning rubber hit my nose. No, it wasn't from the car speeding away; someone was literally burning rubber. The fire had been started by the terrorists to help their getaway. The black smoke and noxious smell made me choke. I had to spit out the mint candy I had been eating till then.
