Amazon Echo (also know as Echo) is a kind of smart speakers made by Amazon. The device is linked to an inbuilt voice-controlled Artificial intelligence personal assistant service called Alexa, which responds to the name Alexa as the default wake word for the echo. This wake word can be altered to Amazon, Echo, Computer or any other preferred word by the user. The echo was part of Amazon’s initial attempts to swell its device collections beyond the popular Kindle e-reader.
