About this ebook

Petunia is NOT a princess. She doesn't want to be fancy or frilly and she certainly doesn't want another little princess moving in next door. But, when the newest neighbor likes pink and climbing trees, maybe Petunia can make a new friend and stay true to her self. This bilingual picture book features two-color text for easy differentiation of English and Spanish. Perfect for bilingual families, classrooms, English and Spanish learners.

A simple but efficient way to tell kids they shouldn't say No until they try it. People can still keep their opinion after trying to understand others. This book would be great to use in class, it would definitely start a lot of useful discussion among the students and help to improve their behavior outside the classroom. I'm glad it's NOT a rhyming book, although I understand those sometimes can be fun.

Cute picture book with a wonderful message! Petunia is not a princess because she likes to get dirty, climb trees, catch lizards, etc. But, she's lonely. Lucky for her a new girl moves next door. She discovers that she can be friends with kids who like other stuff...like princesses. Illustrations are one of a kind.
