    With the fall of the Undead Legion, civilization is on the rise. People are rebuilding. The church’s reach spreads, offering protection and solace to the survivors.

    Deegan Frostfall needs answers. His past is shadowed by undead caregivers and their mindless subservience.

    But even the whisper of undeath can inspire mobs, draw in church Inquisitors, or both. Which means Deegan’s answers can only be found through more— creative means.

    Torn between Worlds is a short story set in the upcoming “Shepard of the Dead” Universe. This story centers on a single choice which will make Deegan Frostfall a name a few loyal souls whisper in holy reverence, and many shout out in righteous indignation.
