About this ebook

Elena is part of a generation of artificially created children.
Believed to be humankind's last hope, they have only one purpose: to breed.
Elena, however, doesn’t want children.

If she goes against the Council, she risks losing everything she ever cared about.

When her world is attacked, threatening to end their very way of life, Elena must fight for her, and her peers’, right to live how they want and make their own choices.

’’A thought provoking tale that is magnificent in describing how the main character becomes a heroine.’’ - Patrik Sahlstrøm, author of BOOKS OF FUTURE DARKNESS.

Hello, my name is Anniken Haga. I am a writer – which is probably why you’re here. My debut novel was traditionally published in Norway – Et Mørkt Sinn – in 2014. In 2015 and 2016 I published two more books through the same publishing house – Aerith and Falon. In 2018 I published my first indie book, and first book in English, Artificial Generation. On a more personal note; I was born in Tønsberg, Norway, in 1992. I learned early in that children don’t live forever – a long story– and my love for making up stories, both scary and not, was born. I think my sister has a fear of clowns because of me. My body has given up on me three times in my life. The first the reason I learned what death was, and got fond of living and enjoying myself while telling creepy stories. The second made me realize what kind of people I wanted in my life, and what I wanted to do with it. The third, and last, is the reason I write. It’s the reason I now write stories about people discovering who they are, living with incurable diseases, or finding reasons to survive. I live in Norway. In a small red house in the middle of the woods. Here I live with my husband and our dog, Izzy. Writing and reading is my life, with a healthy dose of RPG every now and again.
