      Atrip through other worlds, is it ever a good idea? Isn't it an unknown quantity, isn't it an unpredictable risk? On the other hand, couldn't you say the same thing about love? You're always going to be taking a risk of some kind with it, right?

      Off-the-cuff joy-riding inter-world travel wasn't a good idea, and no-one needed to tell Jodi that it wasn't a good idea. After all, he was the one trying to convince the senior researcher in the lab – well, slightly senior to Jodi, at any rate – that it was bound for disaster.
