Accomplishing financial goals is a topic perennial topic of concern: In 1947, Ladies Home Journal polled thousands of American households and found that 70% of all their worries were about money. In seven decades, little has changed.
Chances are excellent that of the seven major goal areas you have notable challenges when it comes to getting your finances in order.
Preparation for Financial Success
Some financial goals you'd like to reach by tomorrow or, at least, next week, but would you be prepared for the consequences?
Most lottery winners are not prepared for the many dollars that suddenly enter their lives. For example, do they opt to receive the winnings over a 20-year period or do they want it all in one lump sum? Did you know that companies court the lottery winners to take their future pay outs and in exchange offer them less in the present as a lump sum? Such arrangements enable lottery winners to experience the instant gratification of receiving a huge (if somewhat reduced) pot of money now.
