      Beyond Writing Out Goals -- Devising a Contract

      Why do I have to write anything else? I've already written down my goals and made them challenging, reachable, and specific with clear time lines.

      As you pursue some goals, an added incentive for reaching would be to contract with yourself. This technique is simple, powerful, and optional. You don't have to do this; you could skip this article if you are so committed to your goals that devising a contract with yourself doesn't seem worthwhile. Most champion goal achievers haven’t used this technique.
