About this ebook

?Child Protective Service worker Sadey Collins is back to doing what she does best – annoying clients and ticking off drug dealers. Muddling through a new relationship that’s eliciting feelings she never knew existed – that’s an area where she’s not at her best. But, hey, what could possibly go wrong when there’s a gorgeous man in your bed that can play your body like a well-strung harp? Oh, yeah, and he can cook!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Murder, kidnapping, drive-by shootings and explosions once again leave Sadey badly injured and under round-the-clock protection and continuous hovering from her rock solid, drop-dead gorgeous fiancé, Chase. But it doesn’t stop there. With a house full of friends and family, another surgery and a killer on the loose, the stress is building.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Follow along as strangers become friends, friends become family and a killer takes a journey through the hills of West Virginia; his biggest mistake being that he thinks he can outsmart a couple of ticked-off detectives and a sheriff with a vendetta. But don’t settle back in too quickly – you might find an ending that leaves more questions than answers.❣️

Christy Wilson

Christy Wilson is the author of the CPS series, which follows the life and cases of Child Protective Services worker Sadey Collins. Although her degree is in Elementary Education, with a Master's Degree in Reading, Christy spent several years working in social work. She started as a Homefinder for a foster care agency, before spending several years working for Child Protective Services. Investigating the abuse and neglect of children is mentally taxing and she has experienced first-hand the many challenges, and few successes, that are experienced by CPS workers.Christy lives with her family in the mountains of Ritchie County, West Virginia. They have three children, five grandchildren and three large dogs who believe they are children (and treated as such).While spoiling her grandchildren is her favorite activity, writing comes in a close second. She also enjoys cross-stitching, scrapbookings, and reading everything she can from her favorite authors.
