    DEDICATION

    ––––––––

I would like to dedicate this book to my beautiful wife, Olla.  She has been so kind and respectful towards me while I accomplished writing my second book. She is the great inspiration of my life. She has awarded me the comfort of being able to accomplish something that I thought I never would do in the first place. This was never a dream, which I never had, come true.

Thank you, baby, for being the greatest person in my life and allowing me to do what I am enjoying doing. You are the greatest person in the world to me and I appreciate you with all my heart, and I truly mean that. I would never have done this were it not for you and your kindness. I will always love you with all my heart till the very day that I die.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I would love to thank all the great people that have been a part of my life and who has given me the privilege of getting to know them spiritually.  Each and every one of you have been an asset in my being able to learn something about God and His love in some form or the other.

I would especially like to thank one of my former pastors, Rev. Haddock. Thank you very much for being the man of God that you are. I know that you were a great inspiration for me. It was a privilege sitting under you and learning the things of God and it was a great asset in my life being able to write my first book not even counting my second book here. You are one of the people who gave the encouragements which I needed as I was growing in learning the Word of God.

I would like to thank Johnny and Pat Nix for being a part of my life. Thank you, Johnny, for being the person that led me to Jesus Christ in the first place. Thank you for being the person that encouraged me to grow in the Lord and learn everything that I could.  Thank you, Pat, for inspiring me to want to grow more and more. You were great people in my life and I thank you very much for that.

I most of all would love to thank my God for being such an-inspiration as I have allowed to let him be a part of my life. I thank Him for His patience with me because sometimes I have no patience. I thank Him for being the loving Father that He is and that He is already here at my computer with me. I thank Him that He has helped me to keep my fingers flexible in order that I can still type. I thank you Lord for the great and wonderful life that you have afforded me, and I do love you with all my heart.

    INTRODUCTION

I Corinthians 13:1-7 "1.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.²And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.³And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

The Love of God is the most important facet in the Christian walk. There is not anything that we can describe which will compare to the importance of the Love of God. I go into many crowds of people speaking with them about Jesus and the things of God, and how much these things should mean to us. Many times, I will ask the groups of people that I am speaking with about their Love for God.  I will ask the question Do you love God? I even ask the group for a show of hands. And when I do, everybody in the crowd will raise their hands to indicate that they love God. Well, of course that is very good that everybody loves God. At least everybody says they love God. It is important that when we say something that we mean what we say. That way we are telling the truth. The truth is, that if you say that you love somebody or something, your actions will prove what you mean by what you have said.  The actions you take per the words that you say will identify the truth about what you really believe concerning the words which you have spoken. If you say that you love God, but you still go and live in the world and do the things of the world, how can you truly say that you love God?  Throughout the course of this book, I will show you how that either you prove your love for God with actions or that the words which you speak are just words and that your actions will prove who you really are. You have heard the old saying actions speak louder than words I am sure.  Well, that does relate back to the Word of God. It is what you do that will tell someone who you really are.

I will be basing this book on I Corinthians chapter thirteen. I would like for you to read the first seven verses before I start breaking them down verse by verse and showing you what it all means by saying that we love something or somebody with our actions showing or with our actions not showing. I may seem to be a little wordy, but I want to get my point across in a tangible way and that is the only way that I know how to get the points across. I preach it all the time and people still have not heard; therefore, please forgive me for being a little wordy in the book, but when you finish reading it, I would like for you to understand what I am trying to help you to understand.

One of the things that I would like to look at here is the word charity.  What does the word charity mean first? Let’s look at an English dictionary meaning of the word and see what it says. One definition of charity is that it is something by what we are either doing or what we are saying in relation to someone or something. That is referred to in the English dictionary as a Christian virtue. That is exactly what the Love of God is supposed to be. It is supposed to be love without biased opinions about the person you are referring to. What is charity in English? It is a way of giving in some fashion to help someone with a need that has become a part of their life at the time. At the same time, we are supposed to give them assistance with the Love of God. Giving with the Love of God makes the difference in our giving it in the first place, and the Love of God is what puts people with an understanding way about what you may be thinking about what might be going on in their life.  Regardless, we need to understand what the reasons are for the things going on in their life.

We do not need to judge them because we do not like what they are doing. We need to love them despite what is going on in their life and show that we care about them by how we treat them. If you tell me that you love me, but you never show it in your actions, then how can I know that you really love me? The way you treat me will tell me everything I need to know about what you think about me. If you always avoid me, by going around me to where you do not have to come near me, that will tell me that you do not like me. It does not matter what the reason is that you do not like me, because if you loved me with the Love of God, you would not avoid me. You would want to share the Love of God with me. That proves, when you can face the person regardless of whether you like them or not, that you really do love them because you want to share the Love of God with them.

It is also described in a way of giving people something that will be assistance to them in the financial realm. For example, if someone needs food and you may give them some money so they can go buy some food, then you have been of assistance to their need in the financial realm. That is love as long as you have done that from the heart with no regret that you did it. Maybe they had a light bill and their lights were going to be turned off because they just do not have the money to pay it. When you learn of the need, and you have the assistance to help them with the need, and you pay the light bill for them, you have given to them in the financial aspect to help them have lights in their home. That is the kind of love that we are supposed to display. I am only speaking of the definition that the English dictionary has for us to look at and I will discuss all these details in the entirety of the book. I just need for you to understand what the English definitions are because they do line up with what is talked about throughout the Word of God.

I Corinthians 13:1-7 "1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.²And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.³And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

This to me is the love chapter of the Word of God.  It really entails what love is really all about in many facets and I will show you what the Word of God tells us. God tells us here a lot about the Love that He expects from us and there are many other places in the Word of God that teaches what the Love of God is in action. My goal is to help you to understand what the Love of God in action means.

I Corinthians 13.1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. I just wonder what God means here by tongues of men and then tongues of angels. There are many diversions of what people think that the Word of God means about what it is in the first place. Well, I will explain to you what the Word of God calls tongues of men first. This we can all agree on and I know that for sure. It is our native language that we speak and that we all understand when spoken to. Well, at least we think we do anyway.  The English language can be a very complicated language if we allow it to be. We must be careful with it or we will not understand what it means. It is how that it is worded and what words are used in the context of what we are speaking about that gives us the meaning of what we say. That is why that God kept it very simple and did not use great big demonstrative words to explain things to us. That one is simple enough to understand. It does not need much explanation, because we all know that the tongues of men have to be our native language.

Let's look and see what the tongues of angels are according to the Word of God. This is the one that most do not want to understand what it really means because they do not agree on it. They all believe that they are right in what they believe and of course somebody is wrong. Again, like I have said many times in my first book, we are all too stubborn to want to change it even when we know that we are wrong because we just do not agree on it. That is a shame because we need to get the Word of God right and agree on it. Someone told me recently, that we would never all agree on everything because we all have our opinions. That is true that we all have our opinions. The word thinks there is a very important descriptive word that we need to take a close look at, and we will throughout this book of understanding what the true Love of God is. That is the problem, we all have our opinions about what we think that it all means. That is where things get really mixed up about what the Word of God means. We need to quit expressing our opinions about what we think that it all means and read what is written. Once we read what is written, then we need to express it the way God gave it to us and then we can really understand what charity really is. That is how that we can be clear on what it means when we read it. That is letting the Love of God be our guide and us sitting back and getting out of God's way to help us understand what we are reading.

In my first book, I explained that the Word of God came from God and how that man could not have had any way in helping God write the Bible except that they wrote down what He told them to write. We must believe this if we expect things to be right according to God. That is why if one person thinks that it means this and someone else thinks that it means that; then, we have two interpretations of the scripture. Someone is wrong. That is why it is so important that we all study from the same thing rather than 400 different versions of the Word of God. I have gone to the churches and have heard many different preachers preaching from the Word of God. I use the KJV of the Bible in everything that I do when I am assessing what the Word of God means. I always take it with me when I go to church. I will always turn to the scripture that the minister refers to as he reads it from the Word of God. Many times, when they start reading, the translation they will be reading from does not even agree with my KJV version of the Bible, and then we automatically have two different readings from the Word of God. Man has changed up some of the Word of God in other versions to not even tell the same story of the Bible as the KJV does. That is private interpretation. I cannot help what you call it. You may call it a way that we can understand what God is saying because the KJV is so hard to understand. I do not believe I need the stories changed from their original meaning of the KJV version for me to understand them. How can we understand what it means if we just do not believe what God wrote down for us? That is why things have gotten so turned around in the churches. We must believe it just like God said it.

Mark 16:17 "¹⁷And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;" Here God tells us that we shall speak with new tongues. That means that they will not speak with their native tongue. That means that they will speak with a new tongue. If you speak with a new tongue, you will definitely not be speaking with your native tongue that you use every day to converse with when speaking with other people. You will be speaking in a different tongue than the one you normally use. That is what new is. It is something different than what you are already doing. If I have a new car, then I have a different car than what I had before. It is not the same car that I had. Therefore, it is something different than what I had. That makes it new to me because it is not the same thing. It is different.

Therefore, if I speak in a different language it cannot be my native tongue. It must be different from that. Then it would be new. He could only be talking about speaking with tongues of angels. That is what they will be speaking. It is a heavenly language. That is a language that man will not understand here on this earth. It is a spiritual language that we will be using while we are talking with our God and Father in Heaven. One commentary expressed it like as we would be speaking like the angels.

Well since it is a heavenly language, and that is what the angels speak we must be speaking as the angels speak. Therefore, I believe that we would be speaking like the angels. When we are speaking as the angels speak, no one will understand what is being said because it is a heavenly language. It is a spiritual language that we are not supposed to be able to understand. It is to build us up and help us to be able to stand stronger on the Word of God. That is what will help us to be able to stand on the Word and to withstand all the fiery darts that will come at us

God tells us in Corinthians here that if we speak in either of these two tongues without the Love of God that we are as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. People we just become a loud noise that just makes a sound when we are doing these things without charity. Think about it. You are speaking in your native language or you are speaking in the heavenly language and you are not doing it with charity. God tells us that you are just a loud set of drums that has no meaning. You are basically just running off at the mouth. You are making a lot of noise with no meaning to it. In other words, you are just spouting off and talking without any meaning to what you are saying.

You are speaking without the Love of God in your heart and that would not even be relative to God. It does not benefit anybody, not even you. You think that you are going to get your rewards which are laid up in heaven for you. But, if you do these things without the Love of God in action, you may as well not have done them at all.  You will only get your rewards from man, but you will not get any rewards from God. That is what God says here. I did not say it. God did. Whatever we do we must do it with the Love of God in action. God calls it charity here. The word charity indicates very heavily in the dictionary, ACTION!

Actions are the keys to what the Love of God is in the first place.  We must put the Love of God in action for it to be able to get us the things that God tells us we can have from it. That is our rewards we receive for being obedient to God about what God has told us that we need to do in our lives to acquire the things that He has laid up for us. When God tells us that He will give us all our need if we just trust Him, then the action is the giving us our need as He has promised us that He would. He does it because He really wants to do it and not because He must do it. He does not make a lot of noise about it, He just does it. He does it in Love. That is how we need to do everything that we do is in love.

I Corinthians 13:2 "²And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing."  Wow look at me, I am a prophet and I know everything. There is not anything that I do not understand. I have got it made and I can just see everything that God has here on this earth. I am a big man. WOW!!! I have just tons of knowledge and I know everything about the Bible and there is just nothing else that I need to learn. I am so smart and so educated that I have gained all the knowledge that there is. My faith is the reason why that I could become the prophet that I am and gain all the vast knowledge of the natural world and the spiritual world. That is why that I know that I have it made. I am smarter than you are. I know more than you know about anything. That is what I have worked so hard in being able to do. God has made me to be the big chief over the things that I want to be over. I am better than you are. So far, do you see any Love of God in all that rhetoric? I hope you do not, because there is no Love of God there. God tells us that when we do these things without the Love of God in them that we are nothing.

Even if we have the faith of being able to lay hands on people and they receive their healing that is available for them, and we do these great and wonderful and miraculous works of God and do them without the Love of God in our hearts in action we become nothing. It does not mean anything to know all the great mysteries of the Word of God then elevate yourself above the people around you. You only have some knowledge, but that will not bring you the blessings from God unless you give God all the credit for what has happened in your life and display the Love of God.

It does not matter that you have the faith of the grain of a mustard seed and that you see majestic mountains removed from where they are located to other places. It does not matter that you can lay hands on the possessed and the devil spirits leave and go away unless it is all done with the Love of God. You benefit the person receiving the rewards, but if you do it without the Love of God in your heart you gain nothing for it in your endeavors with Christ. Just remember that you can get your rewards from man and he will elevate you for all the wonderful things which you have accomplished, but that will not get your rewards with God

Some people do things for show.  When they do it this way, then; they do not get the rewards from God, they only get recognized by people. When someone is doing it for show, they cannot have the Love of God in their heart. When we do things without the Love of God in our hearts; then our works are meaningless in the eyes of God. It may appear to man to be great and wonderful things that you have done and that you have accomplished, but if the Love of God is not there in action you are just a breath of air that did not give anything to anybody that built your spirit of God. It became as a vapor that had no meaning. It is worthless in the eyes of our God who made us from the beginning.

It is a privilege to be able to do all the great and wonderful things that God has allowed us to be a part. He has given us many talents to be able to worship and praise Him with. He has given us many instruments to be able to share that love and worship for Him. So, you can play the piano well and you just really love to show off with your extraordinary talent that God has given you. That is good that you want to play the piano for the church. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are doing it just to get recognized by the people and listen to them brag on you; then, you may as well have not done it because you will get no rewards from God concerning you playing the piano.

Many people in the church love to do things to cause people to brag on them about how good they were at what they were doing. They do it for show. So, you are a prophet. That is good. There is nothing wrong with that. What is wrong, is for you to have the big head over it and you display the gift so that it makes you look good in man’s eyes. That is not going to profit you anything with God.  We must and have to do it all with the Love of God in our hearts if we want any recognition from God. There is no other way to get recognition from God other than to do it with the Love of God in our hearts.

We have the great capacity to be able to even lay hands on the sick and them recover from their diseases. We have the abilities to learn great mysteries from God. Luke 8:10 "¹⁰And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand."  Remember some things are mysteries in the Word of God because we make them mysteries, not because God wanted them to be mysteries. But if we work in these capacities and we do not do it with the Love of God, we become nothing. We are that great symbol of noise ringing loud with no meaning. We must operate with the Love of God or we may as well not do anything. True, someone may get a need met and may get blessed in some way, but your blessings will be nothing if you have done it without the Love of God in your heart. Many people will say that you cannot do things for God without the Love of God in the heart. You are right you cannot do that. But you can do things for people and do many good things for them and you can do them without the Love of God in your heart. People do it every day and do not have any love for the person and that means that they do not have the Love of God in their heart.

Mark 11:23 "²³For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."  Even if we have this type of faith in God that we can even remove mountains and they be gone and cast into the sea and we do not have the Love of God in our heart in action, then; even this becomes as nothing in the eyes of God. It does not matter what it looks like to man. What matters is what is in your heart for the purpose of doing it in the first place.

Many people are trying to get rich from faith healing type ministries. They are not really doing this for the Love of God. They are doing it to get financial gain from it. People will put millions of dollars into those types of ministries and help to make them rich. Unfortunately, they get rich from it and
