About this ebook
Since independence in general, and after emergency rule of Indira Gandhi in 1976-77 in particular, politicians of India have been ditching poor people of the Nation. Still, the people have no option available to them except trusting politicians coming up with newer slogans with a hope of reducing their miseries. Modi took advantage of people’s psyche and focused on three major issues during electioneering – bringing back black money of Indians in foreign banks and distribution of it among people with each one to get INR 1,500,000, reversing price spiral, and most importantly of he becoming a servant of people rather than being a ruler. People believed him and voted him to power, thus began a period of the worst Empiricism, extravagant government expenditure, and Hindu extremism. These three aspects of the present government define what Modi means for people. Let us examine these one by one.
