About this ebook

Kevin

No, I refused to listen to my father! I wasn't going to be that traditional Omega and accept the Alpha that my father pushed my way. But my father insisted I get married and bear children. He just wanted to marry me off for the money.

He thought he won the argument.

Not a fat chance!

There was a way out. And that was through a scroll that was guarded by an Alpha dragon shifter.

Nothing was going to get in my way. Not even the fact that the Dragon shifter in front of me was my fated mate…

Vance

My dragon lair. My riches. That was all I needed.

People kept trying to mate me off to their Omega sons.

But I didn't need any extra weight.

Until this cat comes stalking into my lair trying to make off with one of my scrolls.

I was going to eat him until his scent stopped me in my tracks.

Now I'm going devour him a different way…

I finally found an omega who was just as insufferable as I was!

But fate had different plans.

I eat fate for breakfast.

This story contains an HEA, Mpreg, and babies at the end. Cute babies. Insufferable little tykes that get into all sorts of trouble. Even before they're born!

The Alpha Dragon's Baby Kittens

Chapter 1

Who dares enter my cave, seeking to plunder my riches? Vance, the mighty dragon, ran his forked tongue over his sharp fangs.

The powerful warrior of the group, a battle-scarred were-lion cowered, sucking his thumb as if he were a cub in the corner of the cave. The mighty were-bear whined at the dragon's words. The were-boar squealed as he hid behind them, covering his eyes.

Vance smiled, feeding off their fear as his saliva dripped to the floor. It would be a great feast he would have, but first, he wanted to play with his food.

Please, great dragon… The were-lion knelt before him in supplication. His golden eyes pleaded for his life.

Why are you kneeling before that overgrown lizard? A small, dainty were-cat pushed his way past the lion and glared up at the intimidating beast.

What? The dragon spit. Do you have any idea to whom you are referring? The mighty beast was taken aback by the audacious feline who dared look at him as if he were a small mouse!

Sure, you call yourself Vance. Everybody knows that. The handsome youth looked at his fingernails as if he were bored.

And? He gestured for him to continue.

And what? He yawned. Am I supposed to remember your last name, too? What is this? Some kind of quiz?

You insolent, foolish and stupid were-cat! I will devour you first. Vance snapped, pinning the poor, helpless mew-mew against the cave wall.

Okay, so you got me. The insolent cat yawned. Are you sure you want to eat a scrawny cat like me? He said, looking around the cavern and swishing his tail.

An aroma tickled Vance's fiery nostrils as he shivered uncontrollably. That scent made his blood boil and he couldn't think straight.

What? Shaking his head, he growled as his gold coins jumped and danced.

Are you going to eat me or not? The cat said impatiently.

What spell have you cast on me? The dragon demanded.

What? Do I look like some kind of wizard? You must be mad. The cat bared his claws.

Then… He inhaled his potent scent into his lungs. Yes, the arrogant cat's aroma tingled through him as his excitement grew.

Look, lizard. The cat preened, even though he was still pinned under the multi-ton creature's hundred-pound talons. I came to this drafty place for a scroll. I intend to leave with said scroll. Now, unless you need me for something important, hand it over and I'll be on my way. He yawned.

The dragon elected to remove his claws from the insufferable cat, who immediately turned his back to the mighty dragon.

What's your name? Vance bellowed, slapping his tail on the ground as a mountain of gold shuddered.

The lion, bear and boar scurried out of the cave, leaving the poor cat to his fate. The boar grabbed a few coins before making his exit.

Why do you want to know? He spun around, facing the impossibly large dragon.

Your insolence intrigues me. Vance said. Everyone else on this planet trembles in fear before my mighty visage. But you... The dragon narrowed his eyes. You don't. Why?

The cat looked at him with his green, piercing eyes and yawned.

The longer Vance stood in the cat's presence, the smaller he felt. This wasn't how it was supposed to be!

Kevin. His voice grew soft. And to answer your question...why not?

Vance felt exhilaration at hearing the feline's name. It rolled off his tongue. His heart skipped a beat as he tasted the cat's name in his mind.

What is in that old scroll you wish to attain? Vance let his curiosity rule his tongue.

Oh that? It's…it's not important. Nothing you could comprehend, anyway. He brushed away the inquiry.

You came here to get my scroll and then you say it's unnecessary. Vance was more intrigued than ever. Felines!

Well… Kevin turned away.

He waited for the cat to reveal what he held in his heart. The silence grew so heavy that Vance was about to speak.

My alpha father seeks to marry me off to a suitor. I will not marry him. Kevin stated.

Don't you want to marry an alpha and have a bunch of litters? Vance never heard of the concept of an omega who didn't want babies.

Oh, I want a strong alpha and I want his babies. An alpha of my choosing.
