Let the Poor be Your God

About this ebook
"Service to the poor - the helpless - is the real service to God - it is the real worship of the Almighty. And this very worship is the highest form of practical holiness."
Abhijit Naskar, the humanitarian brain scientist rises with a call to the humans - a call to wake up from their dreams in which they worship illusory, imaginary gods - a call to rise as true human beings and start seeing God in the innocent lives stuck in misery and hopelessness. As a brother of humanity and a friend to human conscience, Naskar urges to the conscientious souls on earth, to once and for all, stop being meek, pompous servants and worshipers of illusory man-made deities, and begin the real service - the real worship of real, living gods - the poor and the helpless.

Real Worship
The kingdom of God is not a place - it's a people - the humans - all humans. Hence, service of the humans is the real service of God - it is the real worship of the Almighty. And no other human needs more of this non-conflicted, not self-less but self-aware service from you the conscientious soul - the real messiah, than those lost in the abyss of misery - the poor, the helpless.
You my friend, are the only being who can become, nay, who are, the only real, living messiah on earth, to make real impact upon the lives that are infested with the ever-darkening darkness of hopelessness. Let your act bring smile in those lives - let your thoughts bring colors in their existence on earth - because if you don't, no Lord Almighty or Son of God, is going to come down to earth, to uplift human misery from the human world.
It is a human world - every good thing in it, is our valuable treasure, alongside all the misery being our own responsibility. In this human world, the misery of the humans can only be lifted by the humans, who are courageous and conscientious enough to take real actions, instead of meekly hoping and praying for an illusory divine intervention.
The divinity you seek, lies in the exuberant realm of protoplasm inside your own skull. Hence, you are going to receive no more divine help from an imaginary messiah, deity or god, than you already possess in your neurons. You can love, because of your neurons. You can feel joy, because of your neurons. You can be divine as well, because of your neurons. You are your neurons.
Your entire psychological existence, that is, your mind, it all begins with the neuron - about a hundred billion of them – sending and receiving electrochemical signals among each other, thus constructing a complicated mesh of inexplicable features. Just imagine, this very network is the birthplace of all your emotions, ambitions, conscious awareness and experiences. This network made you fall head over heels in love when you had your first crush at school. This network made you cherish the taste of human lips when you had your first kiss. This network made you feel special when you had your first computer. Every single human experience that you can think of right at this very moment, has been the product of electrochemical impulses running through the byzantine web
